Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I am pet first-aid certified to give pet owners further peace of mind while their loving pets are in my care. I have pets of my own whom I treat as my "children" and I show the same attention to clients pets. I absolutely love knowing when I walk into a client's home to walk or pet sit their loved one, they are as happy to see me as I am to see them. I love the bond I have with them, and the feeling of fulfillment of knowing that the pets feel totally comfortable with me.

When I moved out to Colorado I needed a cat sitter without having any references to go by. Maria had advertised at my apartment complex so I called her up and she was awesome from the start. She watched my crazy cat several times, from short trips to longer trips and I always knew my home and cat were watched out for. I highly recommend Ready Pets Go, and recommended her to several other friends, but she moved out of the area! Nooooo!! :) It's tough leaving a pet at home, but I was always comforted knowing Maria was watching after mine.

Thank you Steve for such kind words. I thoroughly enjoyed pet sitting Oscar, and I hope all is well with him and yourself. I miss Colorado! Take care.

Maria is incredible with Toby. Toby loves seeing her and knows he will get love and excercise. There has never been anyone as good as Maria for the care she gives to my baby. (Toby is a mini Aussie)

Pet Sitting

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I used to leave my dog at boarding facilities while we left out of town and I felt like I was abandoning him when I would walk out the door. I didn't really know how well he was being treated and didn't like the fact he was taken from his comfortable surroundings to a strange place.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I walk clients dogs for exercise and pet sit at their home 2-3 visits a day while they are out of town. I do not do overnight pet sitting, but they do get lots of TLC while I am there with them.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

It is very important to make sure the pet sitter is insured and bonded. This insures the clients that the pet sitter they hire is liable if anything happens to their pets due to negligence on the pet sitter's part.
