Introduction: In the Loud and Proud Piano Studio, students enjoy the process of learning along with the result. This is accomplished through creative activities, an individualized curriculum and an interactive approach when learning new concepts. The acquiring of such knowledge is completed in an environment that encourages experimentation while one discovers their own musical voice. With a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Piano Pedagogy, fun, challenging and engaging lessons for all ages are my specialty!

I've been taking individual (adult) piano lessons from Casey for a few months, and was in a group class that she led before that at University of Denver. She is a great teacher, explains everything, and is very patient. She is very good at adjusting the difficulty of the material to my abilities, and challenging me just enough so that I make progress without getting frustrated. She has also done a great job of using technology to do remote lessons. I recommend her very highly.

I have been taking adult piano lessons with Casey for about three months now, after having been away from the piano for more than 25 years. I cannot think of a better teacher to have started with! Because part of Casey's degree is pedagogy, she is able to describe things in different ways, and she has all kinds of tips, tricks, and exercises to help me improve. Best, though, is that Casey has embraced music as being a joyful part of life. She does want me to feel like I am improving, but more importantly to me: we have fun during the lessons, and my homework is challenging - not tedious repetition. I am enjoying the experience, doing things that I have never done before, and am only too happy to recommend her.

I started piano in a group setting with each student having a different amount of experience. She was able to teach everyone at different levels at the same time without making folks feel like they were waiting for others or couldn't keep up. I continued on with private lessons and look forward to it every week. She really listens to what you want to learn and customizes the lesson for you! Five Stars
