I hired Christopher to edit my manuscript. He found all the standard gramactical errors that are expeceted from any compentent editor. The part that sets him apart from other editors is that he takes the time to explain my errors to me and truly seems to make an effort to make me a better writer. Many editors get so wrapped up in what is wrong with a manuscript, they often lose focus on the story. Christopher does not. He shows actual interest in the words and offers his thoughts and suggestions on the plot and storyline. I feel he is an asset to any writer, and you can feel confident that he will make your words better. He is a tough taskmaster, but I know he's on my team. I consider myself fortunate to have found him and you will too.

I highly recommend Nancy Sparrow and Sparrow Solutions for all business and household support! I have used their Business Services and their Personal Concierge services since 2008. I have 100% trust in them. Nancy is a dynamic person and I trust her and her team to do whatever it takes to get things done. On the personal side...they manage my credit cards, finances, my son's schedule, my calendar, travel arrangements, household projects, errands, storage units, etc. As a note...she is also a very solid editor of copy. On the Business Services side, SS provides admin support, inventory, operational support, business development and research, marketing and sales, writing and editing as well as lots of projects we don't have specific staff for. It would be a mistake not to go with Sparrow Solutions.

I have had the pleasure of working with Bloomery Forge on a number of projects. Brenda was a key in writing and editing the script for a documentary film that I produced (Climb for Freedom), and Alec edited my book (The Wisdom Within These Walls). I don't know what I would have done without them. Truly professional, excellent communicators, creative writers and editors. I would have no hesitation in working with either/both again. If you get a chance to work with Bloomery Forge, grab it.

After several independent reviews of my memoir, it was evident that if I wanted to take my book to the next level, it would be wise to engage the skills and knowledge of a professional editor. Even though I had read the manuscript too many times to remember, the reviewers pointed out a few spelling and punctuation miscues. I was trying to avoid the cost of paying an editor for something that I thought I knew and could do well. It turns out there were editing concerns that I had never encountered and therefore, was unaware how they might impact the reader. At our first meeting, Amber listened intently to my concerns, confirmed what I wanted from an editor and also confirmed what I didn't want. She shared with me her experience and expertise, assuring me that she was highly qualified. Amber explained her approach was to read and edit a small amount of the manuscript and then to send it to me for review. With my "go ahead," she would resume and continue editing in the same manner throughout the book until the editing was complete. Such an approach was reassuring and perfect for me. Amber was true to her word, was everything I had hoped for and more. We were in continual communication throughout the process. At one point, when I became overwhelmed and a bit apprehensive, Amber sat by my side and explained each and every correction. She was always honoring and made mention of her own personal connections to parts of my story. In summary, I highly recommend Amber. She is thorough, comprehensive, skilled and very knowledgable. Having trusted her completely, I am now ready to take my manuscript to the publisher, confident that it is perfect in every way.

I have collaborated with Damon Gitelman on a number of writing projects and presentations. His ability to analyze complex subjects and narrow the focus to what the audience can understand is outstanding. His business writing, advertising and newspaper editorial background makes him an ideal choice for large and small writing projects. As fellow writer, I can appreciate the depth of his knowledge and skills in marketing, technical and writing in a variety of styles, including both the Associated Press (journalism) and Chicago Manual of Style (education and science writing). He also is an excellent teacher, presenter and collaborator, should you need someone to help you present your ideas or tell your story. I highly recommend Damon Gitelman to assist you with your writing, editing, and presentations.

Charlotte edited my latest manuscript, preparing it for publication and adding all the technical details I wouldn't have thought to include. She didn't make blind assumptions about my content, but pointed out areas that might need more clarification and let me do that. Which is what makes a great editor! Incredibly informative and helpful. Margaret provided excellent feedback and was constructive in her editing. My essay was much more cohesive because of her editing, but still allowed my own voice to show through. I would highly recommend her for any writing or editing assistance!

When the time came for my daughter to apply to professional schools, we wanted an expert writer and editor to teach her how to polish the required essay she had written to accompany her application. We hired Savan Associates, and couldn't have been happier with the results. Savan Associates worked back-and-forth by email with my daughter, had her rewrite her essay three times to incorporate information missing from the prior drafts, and provided questions and comments on each draft to help her fill in any remaining blanks. Then Savan Associates coached her on how to condense that information into a final draft. Not only was her final essay concise, dynamic, and jammed with pertinent details, all within the maximum character count, but it precisely captured my daughter, her background and experience, her love of animals, and the reasons she should be accepted to vet school. Most valuable was how Savan Associates educated my daughter on writing and editing. This tutoring process not only enabled her to refine her essay into the product she desired for her veterinary school application, but also helped her improve her written communication skills for the long-term. Best of all, my daughter was accepted into five vet schools, including one of the top-ranked schools in the country. We know her excellent grades, GRE scores, and personal interviews had much to do with her acceptances, but we have no doubts her essay helped distinguish her from the competition. S. L. Z. I hired Vic to create & produce a few comedic videos to promote a startup online store. He approached the project with zealous enthusiasm and rapidly pitched a few original ideas, all of which my team found clever and funny. Eventually, we settled on an idea and Vic took his concept, turned it into a script, hired a production crew and actors, directed the shoot, and oversaw editing. Within a short time, we had a humorous and professional video for our campaign, which in turn made me look great to the owners and investors in the company. I felt Vic really knows what he is doing when it comes to creating great original digital video content, so I highly recommend him for video projects.

**Send me a page or two or your work. I'll edit it for free. That's the best way to pick your writer/editor -- see firsthand what they do and how they do it.** I provide writing, editing, and writing instruction services to businesses, universities, government agencies, and non-profits nationwide. I’ve done work for dozens of marketing firms, Unisys Corporation, U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Air Force, CH2M HILL, Prentice Hall, LexisNexis, HP, Webroot, VMware, and Adobe, and I’ve written and edited corporate, government, technical, and marketing documentation throughout my career. Let’s just say my work has run the gamut. Back in the day, I developed and taught a course in technical writing for Pentagon personnel. I also spent three years teaching courses in academic writing, public speaking, and literature to students at the University of Virginia and three years teaching writing at the University of Colorado, Boulder. I earned a Master of Arts degree in English Literature, Language, and Research from the University of Virginia. My GRE Verbal test score is in the 99th percentile. Why share a GRE score? Because it assesses ability in language usage, grammar, and punctuation. I know my stuff. I live in the grand and gorgeous state of Colorado, and in my free time I work on my novel, travel extensively in the US (47 states and counting), travel as much as possible around the world, and bike around Denver on one of my fabulous cruisers. Unless my bikes have been stolen. They’re stolen a lot.
