- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are value pricing...no surprises. We give price before we start and nothing changes, unless scope of service changes. Plus, we include tax planning as part of our process at no additional charge. People feel nervous to come to a professional CPA/Accounting firm...thinking prices will higher. But, that is not the case many of client are charged less than the national franchise chains would charge and we provide year round support and assistance. And I would better overall service. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1) Initial meeting phone or in person...what works best for them. 2) Provide fixed quote for services requested. 3) Collect data in person or through our secure portal. 4) Review and prepare tax return. 5)Review with client on person or via secure portal (Again client preference) 6) Finalize and submit return...we are done and you can relax! 7) Follow-up as needed for tax planning through out year.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Myself and my staff take continuing education classes in Tax only! We ensure we are up to date in all current laws and future (big part of the planning process). Additionally, myself and staff members teach tax classes to other tax professional. We are boards of directors with state and local tax professional organization...which give us a closer view of tax issues and concerns that our clients may face.
