Gaia has amazing gifts that would benefit anyone she works with. She is so in tune with the energies around her and that has enabled me personally to work through some difficult emotions and come out feeling better than before. I highly recommend her! She is a very caring person, a great listener, friend and someone I trust!Jan 27, 2020
Joy embodies a wisdom that far surpasses her years. As a healer, she has what really counts: heart. She holds a loving and compassionate space that's perfect for transformational guidance. In the two sessions I have had with her, I was struck by her ability to tune into what was going on inside of me. She knew when to step in and offer assistance, and when to just be with me as things unfolded. Highly recommended!Jun 7, 2016
Joy was lovely and gave me several practices to incorporate into my life. She went over time when I had a few questions. I would totally recommend her.Jan 22, 2016

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Sessions run 90 minutes, on a $70-200 sliding scale. I ask people to pay an amount that stretches them without stressing them out.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We start with a short conversation over phone or video, or by talking at the beginning of the session about what kind of support you are seeking. From there, we invite spiritual allies (those who are in alignment with our highest good) to come bless up, support us, and nourish us. The room often begins to feel yummy at this point, and we may take some time to listen to the energy that shows up. (I tailor this to your comfort zone; if you follow a specific spiritual path like Christianity, we start by praying and tuning into the Trinity.) We also take a minute to listen to our bodies, so that we start in a grounded way. The rest of the session is guided intuitively. I often begin by listening (empathically) to your body. Other times, I may relay messages from your spirit guides, help you set up a dialogue between different parts of you, talk to you about your spiritual gifts, or have you lie down and relax.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work? Many different teachers have held my hand and walked me through this life. Much of what I offer comes from my ongoing experience in healing from trauma, abuse, and addiction. Some of my best teachers have been practices like Vipassana meditation, ritual, contact improv, ecosensuality, and inner parts work. I owe an incredible debt to the wisdom and support I have received from the spirit of the Earth and an assortment of human mentors. Some of my more formal teachers include the Integral Center, Goenka of Vipassana Meditation, Willow Arlenea of Dancing Tree Mystery School, the wizard known as Snow Leopard, Reverend Teri Chiachi, curandero Doug Simmons, Reiki Master Holly Murphy, the Earth, my partner (and brilliant evolutionary coach) John Shapiro, and the many amazing trauma-informed somatic healers of Boulder and Contact Improv. My therapeutic training is in "parts work" modalities like Internal Family Systems, HeartSync, Applied Existential Psychotherapy, permaculture, and Family Constellations. I am not a therapist. I have a BA in Religious Studies.
