Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: My teaching philosophy is that everyone can learn music. I started out being self-taught when I was 9. Since then, I have learned music from many great teachers such as Carmen Carrozza, a world renowned classical accordion performer and pianist; as well as countless other private teachers and professors. I use a mixture of their teaching to create my teaching style. My business stands out for my many years of experience and the opportunities I have been given over my career. I have played in touring rock bands with record producers, punk bands, gypsy jazz groups, jazz quartets, trios, and duos. I have performed for weddings, steady jazz piano gigs at waterclubs and restaurants in NY/Connecticut/Denver. I have played holiday parties in people's homes such as Christmas parties, birthday parties, and various other events. I have performed on PBS Specials, composed for films, and recently composed music that will be aired on CPR. I also currently play the organ for the Colorado Avalanche. I have a music composition degree from SUNY Purchase, a music education degree from Metropolitan State University, and a masters in education from Concordia University. I have completed 2 levels of Orff training and I will be certified next summer. I have been teaching private music lessons for 24 years and I have taught in public schools for 4 years.

Violin Lessons

My son and Mark have been working together for a month now and it is going great! My son had never played an instrument before and I was concerned he wouldn't stay interested or wouldn't last the whole hour but Mark is really great at keeping him engaged and learning. I also appreciated Mark's flexibility to adjust our lesson time when my son started soccer. If you are looking for a violin teacher, go with Mark @Castellanomusic - you will be glad you did.

Piano Lessons

Mark is great. He gets right to the level of our 7 year old. Our son now looks forward to playing piano and has fun. He's learning more each week. Thanks, Mark!

Mark and I have worked together for over 2 years, as I learn the piano and violin. He is very knowledgeable about all aspects of music and instruments. He doesn’t try to force any style or approach on me, but caters our lessons to what interests me and how I like to learn. We always have a good time and laugh quite a bit, and I have learned a lot with his help.

I’ve been taking piano lessons from Mark for about 3 years now and I’ve learned so much. He’s an awesome teacher and guy in general. He adapts to the way you like to be taught and what you like to learn and completely rolls with it while also pushing your limits. Couldn’t ask for a better teacher.

I have been working with Mark for 3+ years now and he's always been there to work through my questions and my extra special version of crazy. I have learned a lot in a short amount of time and I'm grateful for having found a great musical mentor.
