DMC produced our live awards presentation, including pre-show editing and day-of directing. Blaine and his team handled all of the field production and uplink for a TEDx Event for us at Colorado Public Television. His experience handling similar events and ability to adapt, along with a talented team, gave us a video presentation that we were very proud to present. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Denver Media Center staff has been working in Denver Television and Media for more than 20 years. We are experienced pros with first-hand experience with major broadcast organizations. Owners, Blaine Howerton and Nick Arnold, have degrees in Journalism and Film Production and regularly assist local Universities with educational programs.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started by doing the morning announcements in High School in 1990. My career quickly evolved into telling news Feature stories in the Durango/Farmington area then to working for top 20 tv market TV stations all located in the Rocky Mountain Region (while pursuing my Journalism Degree from Colorado State University). I love telling stories and making a difference with our work.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We provide general video services ranging from half hour tv shows in multiple Tv markets to small YouTube videos for corporate clients. We specialize in producing live events with multiple camera broadcast to streaming providers (like Facebook and YouTube). I am the President of the Regional Emmy Awards (NATAS). Quality and High production values are our standard.
