Exterior Painting
Although I went with a different Contractor, Foothills came out and we're friendly, responsive, punctual and went above and beyond to explain and inspect property. Thank you for your offer~

Exterior Painting
I was very happy to have found Ben and Foothills Painting. From the get go Ben and his office were great to work with. We did the walk through with all of the insurance papers needed and decided on what needed to be done as well as what they were paying for and what I was paying for. This was very helpful. After hiring Foothills Painting they remained professional throughout the job. Scheduling was very important to my wife and I since we have 4 dogs, and need to be home during times like these. Foothills was right on schedule as well as being respectful of our animals. They did a great job with the painting of the house, as well as being quick to touch up any minor spots I might have noticed. I would recommend Ben and Foothills Painting to anyone that is looking for a professional outfit to help with the painting needs.

Interior Painting
After posting my original review I was contacted by the owner of Foothills Painting (Ben). After my original experience with the painting I didn't think Foothills painting could make things right. We had already moved into the house and my wife is pregnant so we couldn't put any more paint in the house to fix the original job. When Ben called me he was serious about trying to make the whole situation right though. After talking through everything that had gone wrong he offered to give a partial refund of the original job to make it at cost and offered to do another job at cost where he would be there himself to make sure it was done right. I expect at most a partial refund of the first job. Given their reviews I know that my situation was an outlier, so I'm sure my next job will be done very well, especially with Ben on site to manage. I appreciate the extent Ben is willing to go to correct past mistakes, even when I didn't expect or really allow much wiggle room. At this point I plan to use Foothills for my next job and anticipate it will be done very well.

We took bids for painting the exterior of our house and choose to have Foothills Painting do the job. The ability to have a color consultant work with us on choosing a color was a factor in choosing this company. We were very impressed with the efficiency and professionalism of the painters who were actually assigned the job. They arrived prepared to work and got things done with a minimal amount of disruption to us. They did a very good job sealing and painting everything including our deck. The follow up from the foreman and painters for a few minor issues (slight touch up and overspray clean up) was handled quickly and efficiently with no hassle. I would highly recommend this company for anyone needing painting done by a reliable trustworthy company.

FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? It is important to know that for a typical two story home in Colorado can vary greatly in price. I could come up with a quote as low as $2000-$2500, or as high as $6000-$8000 depending on the materials being use, the level of prep work required, and complexity of the job. This is why we do a detailed written estimate, to confirm you are getting exactly what you want, and we can provide multiple options you can compare side by side.
- How did you get started doing this type of work? After spending 6 years working with a national painting company, I realized I was really good at running a painting business... and there are a lot of really bad painting companies out there. So I thought it'd be a good opportunity, and something I knew I was good at. We've just grown and grown from there.
- What types of customers have you worked with?We are experts are residential exterior painting. Most of the homes we paint are 7-20 years old, getting their 2nd or 3rd paint job ever. Common problems on the house is peeling paint on trim boards, door trim, window trim, garage trim, fading paint on the south or sunny sides of the house, and cracking joints where boards meet. These are all common problems in Colorado and can be fixed very easily. If they are not fixed, however, they can lead to expensive carpentry problems.
