Ok, so after my wife and I closed on our first house back in December, we immediatly knew that we were going to have to paint... Our house was built in the late 80's and according to the seller it had only been painted once... Needless to say it looked terrible!!! So after submitting a request here on thumbtack, I was quickly called by Hillary. She was PHENOMENAL! She came out to the house and answered my wife's and I's questions, and she even helped my wife pick colors! (I couldn't have cared less about the color haha) During the process we worked with Kyle and he was polite, knowledgable... during the project which took a little less than 4 days. The crew was on time everyday, friendly, and made sure to take extra care around my 68' Chevy project car that was under a tarp in the drive way. Now that the jobs done, our house looks FANTASTIC it almost looks like it was coated in plastic! I would definitely recommend Foothills Painting!

Everyone at Foothills was great to work with. Their salesperson was not pushy at all and let us ask all the questions we wanted, the color consultation was SO helpful, Kyle was easy to communicate with, and Roy (our forman) was friendly, very detail-oriented, and did a fantastic job on our house. We have recommended them to our neighbors and they were all equally pleased with the work. It's nice and refreshing to have a good experience with a contractor; in the past this has not been the case! Thank you all very much!

I would use these guys again. Color consulting was only offered by these guys, production manager was very professional, and the crew did a great job in about 3 days. They will certainly get my rental house project.

FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? It is important to know that for a typical two story home in Colorado can vary greatly in price. I could come up with a quote as low as $2000-$2500, or as high as $6000-$8000 depending on the materials being use, the level of prep work required, and complexity of the job. This is why we do a detailed written estimate, to confirm you are getting exactly what you want, and we can provide multiple options you can compare side by side.
- How did you get started doing this type of work? After spending 6 years working with a national painting company, I realized I was really good at running a painting business... and there are a lot of really bad painting companies out there. So I thought it'd be a good opportunity, and something I knew I was good at. We've just grown and grown from there.
- What types of customers have you worked with?We are experts are residential exterior painting. Most of the homes we paint are 7-20 years old, getting their 2nd or 3rd paint job ever. Common problems on the house is peeling paint on trim boards, door trim, window trim, garage trim, fading paint on the south or sunny sides of the house, and cracking joints where boards meet. These are all common problems in Colorado and can be fixed very easily. If they are not fixed, however, they can lead to expensive carpentry problems.
