We hired Gonzalez Construction to help us with a condo remodel. The work they did included demolition, framing, drywall, new lighting, installing trim, removing tile, laying new tile, plumbing work, leveling the floor, and wood floor install throughout. Daniel and his team were reliable, finished the work quickly, and were professional throughout the entire process. We would definitely hire them again!
It's hard to find contractors and handymen anymore who are reliable, punctual and communicate well. Kyle is one who stands above everyone else in this regard. He was in constant communication with me at all times, managed my expectations well, and arrived exactly when he said he would. His work quality was also excellent, which all made for a very positive experience for me! If you need a master craftsman for work around your home, Kyle is the best person to call.
I only hope I can convey the full measure of unreserved enthusiasm and profound gratitude I feel for having discovered so utterly remarkable an individual as I was privileged to find in the person of Brett Breneisen, the most extraordinary contractor I have ever met. Possessing a range of skills virtually any one of which would stand as amazing, Brett quite literally restored our home to us and saved it from almost certain disaster in the future. Our home had experienced foundation damage that occurred as the result of excessive rain having forced the movement of tons of soil, causing a wall in the (finished) basement to lean in substantially from the top. The damage done by the shifting of the wall was considerable: a large air duct was torn from the ceiling and left hanging askew; the doorway to the furnace room was crushed (the sliding doors no longer doors at all, but reduced to ill-fitting, scarcely usable partitions); the sheetrock composing the ceiling had cracked and buckled. A wall in the hallway had buckled as well, and a portion of it protruded outward, possibly indicating that a structural support beam was being shoved right through the wall. None of the doors in the basement would close anymore; indeed, one, frame and all, had been shifted several inches to one side, leaving a gaping opening. The ceiling in one of the rooms was torn; the room gave the appearance, for all intents and purposes, of a lid being torn off a box. Walls were cracked, and splintered, sheetrock shattered here and there; overall, it was a disaster. The house looked as if it were quite literally about to come down. All that is now in the past. Upon having had the house piered to bedrock and thus arresting the movement of the foundation, we were able to address the sorry sight that our basement had become. Thatâs when I called Brett. Right from the start, he put my mind to ease. He conducted a thorough examination and determined that there was no structural damage. He then set about determining each area of damage and, upon his providing a wonderfully reasonable estimate, secured our go-ahead for the project. Brett started immediately. He addressed each and every concern, turning eye-sore problem areas into show-house perfection. It is virtually impossible now to believe that such damage was ever present. In Brett I observed the most capable and expert contractor, quite frankly, I had ever seen. Nothing was beyond his skill and ability, no area of restoration too large or too complex. He amazed us. Brettâs concise and thorough approach may well have resulted in actually saving our home and, quite possibly, our very lives and those of our beloved pets. The pressing in of the wall had put significant tension on electrical wiring conveying power to ceiling lights. The wiring, Brett found, had been installed incorrectly; rather than having been run through a support, as it should have been, it had instead been wrapped around it. Pressure had broken and exposed the wire, situating what would have been live current in direct contact with dry wood. Upon further investigation, Brett found several additional wiring mistakes, ones that, in addition to the previous, would have almost certainly proved disastrous had I sought to have the lights reactivated, as I very nearly did. In lieu of Brett's discovery of the wiring errors---errors no one lese would likely have found---disaster would have followed. (Some years ago, having become suspicious as the result of anomalous electrical behaviour, I had the power to the lines disconnected. We have of course since then been without any real light in the basement, but that was better than the prospect of what could result.) Brettâs expertise removed all danger and restored the lighting. Additionally, this remarkably talented manâs abilities have resulting in the advent of a beautiful, straight wall, a sharp and clean-looking, perfectly placed heating duct where once there was but a broken and sagging eye-sore, and brand new LED lights that provide twice the light at a fraction of the cost. I have never seen so great and varied a skillset contained within the person of a single individual. He never rushed or in any wise imparted to me the feeling that he just wanted to have done and move on. He never once called and said he couldnât make it over today. He saw each and every aspect of the project through, from start to finish, and the result---I do not say this lightly---is flawless. He explained each step of what he did and always offered me options. He was at all times genuinely concerned with my satisfaction, and instantly rose to any challenge regarding anything additional I might propose. He was always personable and friendly, a genuine delight to have in our home. He was at all times profoundly considerate of our pets, ever careful and cautious regarding them and their safety, and earned our complete trust with them, which is no easy feat. The work he did is flawless, beautiful and complete. Having begun with a disaster, he left us with a wonderfully fully-finished and beautifully-painted basement, having single-handedly transformed our home from eyesore to showplace. So long as he is in business, there is quite simply no one else I shall ever call. He has earned our sincerest admiration and respect.
Brandon is AMAZING! Not only is this man the kindest most professional person who came out to give me an estimate (and I did 5 other estimates) he was honest, upfront and even gave me pointers for IF I chose a different contractor. The work was done to perfection, the first time, even my fiance who's an architectural engineer was amazed. The work was done faster than expected and Brandon worked with my crazy hours and my even crazier dogs! :) Thank you Brandon for a job well done, You'll be hearing from us again soon!
We had a leak in our upstairs bathroom that went down to the main level so we needed a bathroom remodel and new drywall and texture in our dinning room. They tile work was great and everything looked good when they had finished. I do wish there was better communication on when people were coming and going for the day.
John does great work. We've used him for two projects - restoring our large front door and converting an unfinished room (utting in the framing, drywall, flooring, extra vents and power outlets). Highly recommend him.
David did an incredible job on my project! I will hire him again, and highly recommend this professional. His work ethic shows. Thank you David!
I can't even recommend this company highly enough. Not only were they the least expensive of the bids I received, but the quality of work they performed was far beyond what I could have asked for. I've worked construction for 15 years and was very skeptical to hire someone to finish a job I could do, but didn't have time for. These guys delivered. Joe worked with me every step of the way to make sure he understood exactly what I wanted, and responded very quickly to my phone calls and questions. They've gained a customer for life.
Jesse was fantasti--gave a very reasonable bid to replace our bathtub and install our new one, started two days later and finished over the weekend. Our bathtub looks amazing and the tile work looks perfect. Glad we finally found our contractor! Hiring him for future projects as well. We couldn't be happier. Thanks, Jesse!
After looking for the right and affordable contractor for months, it can be a little frustrating but it was worth the wait. I found GALVAN remodeling LLC, they were very prompt at price, work and time frame. They worked on my entire basement from scratch to finish, all the plumbing, walls, floors, paint even door sizing. Their work was done fast, efficient, and very well organized. No middle man on contracting work. Very affordable, efficient and well done. I truly recommend the work that GALVAN remodeling LLC, can do for you.
David Tompkins with DT Custom Remodel did a great job finishing our basement. He was very professional during our first meeting and throughout the entire project from start to finish. He did exactly what we wanted and was very easy to work with. I would definitely use DT Custom Remodel again for future projects, and would recommend them to anyone looking for a contractor.
Brian spent 3 days framing, hanging drywall, and putting in some electrical outlets. He did a fantastic job and fast! He was very professional and answered all our questions. I will definitely be contacting him again for other jobs!
We hired LSE Builders to finish our existing basement. Overall, I can’t say enough good things about Steven the owner and Chris the project manager, as well as all the suppliers and contractors they work with. To start with, the whole process was very transparent and they use technology effectively in order to share all the bids, invoices, and receipts. Secondly, they performed amazingly well given our aggressive timeframe. Even with delays from the city, they finished the entire project in well under 3 months as promised. This is especially impressive given the very busy time contractors are having right now in the Boulder area. The finished product includes two additional bedrooms, a rec room, and a full bathroom. The finishing touches, in particular, turned out very well… the tile work, the carpentry, the lighting, etc. The project went very well and exceeded our expectations. Steven and Chris were both very professional and never hesitated to address any concerns we had. We highly recommend LSE!
Construction Guru, Mike, did an excellent job at a fraction of the cost of that other plumbers quoted us. He did plumbing, framing and light electrical work for us, at less than half the cost that three other plumbers quoted us just for plumbing! He is great at communication - He was always keeping us updated with the status and text me when he arrived and left. The other plumbers seem to lack this skill. We highly recommend Mike.
I contacted Parasio Construction through Thumbtack regarding finishing our unfinished basement in our new home in Loveland. Fran Garcia owns Parasio Construction and came over the same day we contacted him. We explained we wanted 2 bedrooms, a entertainment room with a fireplace, a finished bathroom with tile shower and light within the shower. He agreed to submit a bid on the project and within a few days replied with his proposal. We had also contacted several other contractors and had their bids as well. Fran's bid turned out to be the lowest of the bids submitted. He explained that as a small company, he could keep costs down. I was also impressed by Fran's general character. He has a calm, positive personality. He is a very good listener. He was realistic in estimating how long it would take to complete the project, and finished in literally half the time that another contractor thought it would take. When the project was completed, Fran sent in an excellent cleaning crew and cleaned our entire house! There were minor issues that came up, but Fran made it right. I can recommend him without reservation, and would use him again in a heartbeat!
My experience with LRL was excellent! Logan's service went above and beyond what I expected, and he made my satisfaction a priority. Throughout the project he kept constant communication to make sure it was exactly as I wanted, and he even made suggestions that I hadn't even known to be an option. It is safe to say I will choose LRL for ALL of my future projects. I highly advise anyone looking for a contractor to pick LRL Construction, you will not be disappointed!
I was referred to Pegasus Contractors by a friend and needed to have my kitchen, bathroom and deck remodeled. I called and spoke with Tom and he offered to come out and give a free estimate. I hired Pegasus Contractors and they did an amazing job. I would recommend this company for your remodeling needs.
Although it is apparent that Frameworks Timber has an in-depth understanding of timber framing, they also have broad ranging experience and knowledge of conventional construction. I went to Frameworks Timber many times to get input on how to construct something, how to trim something, how to finish something. They always had good suggestions and a willingness to answer any question.
I had the privilege of working with Tom at Envision last year. He completely renovated my upstairs and finished my basement. He’s the best contractor I ever used and I’ve renovated many homes over the years. He also renovated three of my friends homes last year and they had nothing but great things to say about him. Excellent service and high quality work. He listens, he’s professional, he’s onsite and did not leave until I was 100% satisfied.
