Joanie Schneider created a landscape/habitat in my yard that is truly what the name of her company implies: "Sustainescapes". She planted native plants, bushes, and trees that require low water and that provide habitat, shelter, and food for native species, like bees, birds, butterflies etc. I love how my yard looks, and I feel so good that it is helpful to the wildlife.

From design to actualization, SustainScapes met or exceeded all our expectations for what a landscape contractor should deliver. Recently transplanted from New England, and new to xeric landscaping, Joanie melded our eastern esthetics with the reality of "what grows" in Ft Collins. With her artistic guidance, and hard work, she helped us transform a spare city corner into an oasis. Many who pass by have stopped to enthusiastically share their appreciation of Joanie's work.
