Introduction: I give private and group music lessons on just about all musical instruments (no juice harps).
I am a retired music teacher and have had students perform in LA at the Lakers and Clippers basketball games, Phoenix Suns game, CNN, national anthem with Taylor Swift, and helped with drums in the movie, Drum Line.
Several of my students are now first chair in their respective bands and orchestras. "Fun" is what I am definitely about!

I am very lucky to have found Scott to help me learn to play the violin. Not only is he very knowledgeable, but he has a love of music and great attitude towards learning to play.
I decided to learn to play the violin as an adult, with little musical background. Scott's approach to our lessons has been exactly what I needed. The focus has always been on fun and appreciation of the music/instrument, while still building good fundamentals and steady improvement.
As an adult learner, my schedule can get very hectic at times. Scott has been very flexible with scheduling and understanding that my practice time comes and goes.
I highly recommend Scott to adults wanting to learn an instrument, as well as to younger students as well. His love of music will help any age student remember why they want to learn to play.

Scott has helped our son improve immensely in playing the viola. He has challenged him to get better, and in doing so has made the process fun for our son.
