There are no adequate words to describe Katelyn's photographs. Amazing doesn't even begin to describe what she is able to capture or how she is able to capture the person's personality in the photograph. I have known Katelyn since we were kids, and I was so excited that I was able to set up a time with her to have her capture memories for my family and me. It was a drizzly, overcast day, yet Katelyn showed up and made the best of it. Our family shines in every single picture she captured, and I will forever treasure these pictures because she was able to catch every person's different personality. She was very professional, yet very fun to work with. I never felt rushed, and I loved that we were able to just be ourselves around her. I have no doubt that she will be photographing us again. Hopefully in the very near future!

I've spent my grown-up life overweight. After losing a lot of weight I wanted to take photos of the 'new' me. This was strictly for my own self-esteem. Katelyn put me right at ease! Having never done anything beyond the portrait studio in the stores, this was exciting and terrifying! I had so much fun! She took wonderful pictures that left me feeling beautiful and free to be myself. My favorite were the ones after she got me talking about my love. :-) Next time I'll bring the family!

I most typically photograph young families. But I regularly shoot anything from newborns and family pets to birthday parties and weddings.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I finished a photoshoot on the beach in Rhode Island and the kids (all 4 of them) gathered around me to ask when they'd get to see me again.. and the parents exclaimed how much fun they had.
