Excellent instructor! Patient and encouraging. I look forward to many more lessons with her.
Great teacher! I would recommended her to any viloin player looking for violin lessons!
I found this studio through a recommendation from CSU when I wanted to take lessons to learn a song for my friend's wedding. I started my lessons with Aimee Woods, and I continued my studies since then. I took lessons previously as an undergraduate student with my university, and the lessons here with Aimee Woods have been just as good, if not better than I have had previously. Aimee is great at adapting lessons to your skill set and your time commitments. I feel that I have really grown under her tutelage and will continue lessons with her as long as I remain in the Fort Collins area. I highly recommend using Magnolia Music Studio as your place to take voice lessons. It is a warm and welcoming environment, perfect for beginner or advanced students. Aimee is wonderful at what she does, I have learned a lot. Not only technique, but also how to take care of my voice. I have expanded my repertoire from typical pieces learned in college and high school, to a wide variety of different pieces that I love to sing.
Cody is a kind and resourceful teacher, her studio is a welcoming place. Her method of teaching is engaging and inspiring; she is interested in and gets to know her students. Cody always has a solution to technical problems that I encounter when playing. I look forward to my lesson each week, strengthening my skills as a fiddler, while learning great tunes.
Teresa was my daughter's piano teacher here in Chicago from kindergarten to 8th grade. From time to time, aside from piano lessons she helped my daughter with her clarinet for her school band. Teresa was an excellent teacher & a wonderful person. She inspired my kids with her works. I highly recommend her for everyone that needs a music lesson.
Absolutely loved working with Jessica on vocal performance! Would recommend this to any of my friends in the are with music lessons large and small.
Mr. Silvas has helped me improve so much on my violin work. He teaches a lot about the violin like where to place the bow and how to properly hold the violin along with many other things. Ever since I have been learning from Mr. Silvas I have never been better. When I first started I did not now what to do or where to start until Mr. Silvas taught me. He is an excellent teacher and he will make sure you are learning at your very best in the easiest and kindest way possible.
My 9 year old says, "She's awesome. She will help you if you are stuck." I say that Ava is always on time and very accommodating. We have had to change our schedule a few times, but we have always found a way to make lesson time work. Thank you!
Chelsey Hanel is a great piano teacher. She has taught 4 of my kids and she makes the lessons and recitals a fun experience.
My experience with the Alexandra Eddy Project as been a great experience overall. I have been taking violin lessons from various teachers for over two decades and have found Dr. Alexandra Eddy to be extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of violin performance as well as music theory and history. Her teaching style is not intimidating, but professional and encouraging and I have been able to make many advances in the art because of her excellent instruction. I highly recommend looking into violin lessons with the Alexandra Eddy Project if you are interested in learning or continuing with the instrument!
We hired Jaci for violin lessons for my daughter. She's excellent with kids and my daughter loves her. A+
Vi Wickam is an exceptional and versatile musician. He is a rare musician who is equally at home in a tuxedo playing for an elite soiree or in blue jeans playing in a bluegrass jam. Last summer I contracted Vi Wickam to perform for 200 guests at the Opera Fort Collins "Songs in Summer" garden party at the Hixon home. As a strolling violinist he played everything from classical violin melodies to old time and Celtic fiddle tunes. Vi is also the founder and first violinist with the Fort Collins String Quartet. His traditional music includes guest appearance with bluegrass and old time music bands and recordings. He is also releasing a much anticipated solo CD this Spring! I highly recommend Vi The Fiddler for any event. He is reliable, courteous, and professional. Quality matters!
Danielle is a very encouraging teacher, which I greatly appreciate. She always has helpful metaphors and can tactfully point out areas where I can improve. Very happy to be working with her.
The teachers teach to your style. I have grown so much in my vocal singing and I feel comfortable singing in front of people! I love Flourish and would recommend it as a great beginner and expert lessons.
Robbie taught violin to my son and was AMAZING! He was the perfect blend of teacher and encourager while keeping my young son on track with playing his pieces. Robbie is personable, intelligent, patient and extremely knowledgable about all things related to music and violin.
She's great with my 3 year old daughter keeping her focus and engaged, and she creatively keeps me involved as the parent.
I am currently majoring in music education at Colorado State University! My focus is viola, but I am very knowledgeable and confident in teaching piano and voice as well! I have been involved in music my entire life and have always loved piano, singing, and viola!

Ms. Mientka has been an active private teacher since 2006, in both violin and viola. While living in Houston from 2011-2014 she had a teaching studio of 20 violinists and violists. She taught private lessons through Houston school districts, and also maintained a private home studio. She teaches a wide variety of methods from the Suzuki School to Celtic, and tailors her teaching to each individual student. Her private students regularly make top scores at festivals such as Solo and Ensemble, and one of her high school viola students recently received the highest grade at the Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest. Ms. Mientka has a passion for teaching as well as performing, and believes that every child should grow up having music a part of their lives. Ms. Mientka holds a bachelors degree in music from CU Boulder, and a masters in music from Rice University, in Houston TX.
