My daughter has been a student of Phil's for over 3 years and I can say with no hesitation that he is a wonderfully gifted musician and teacher. Additionally, he's a really good person. I'm not musical so I don't understand the nuances but within 3 lessons with Phil, my daughter was playing one of her favorite songs on guitar. He uses a method that is not intimidating or overly technical out the gate. But the more advanced my daughter became, the more technical her lessons could get. My daughter looked forward to every lesson and the easy going comfortable manner that Phil approached their lesson. Phil is encouraging and enthusiastic in a 'cool' way that appealed to my daughter through her pre-teen and teen years. Several years after her first guitar lesson with Phil, she wanted to play keyboard so he began teaching her keyboard too! Eventually we moved to Denver and were sad to have to drop our lessons down to once a month but lessons with Phil have been worth every mile we drive to keep his positive presence and gifted instruction in my daughter's life.

Rick Taylor is the best guitar teacher I've ever had for both myself and my daughter. He's worked with my daughter for years and has taught her to play the acoustic and electric guitar as well as the bass. He also teaches music theory and voice. I've just started lessons and am in awe of his talent. We've worked on several music genres and playing techniques; he knows everything. He's a nice guy and patient; great with kids too. I can't say enough good things about him. If you want to learn guitar or you want your child to learn to play; Rick Taylor is an outstanding teacher.

We are very happy with the piano lessons Genevieve provides to our 9 year old son and our 7 year old daughter. They enjoy learning from her and they're given lots of choices for what they want to play. She's also very flexible with rearranging lesson times if we have to miss. The recitals and sectionals have been fun and helpful too, and we are looking forward to the summer camp if it works with our schedule. :)

Vicki did a wonderful job with me. If she hadn't moved away, she would still be my go-to for vocal lessons. As a recording artist, she took the time to help me retain what makes me unique while making improvements. Highly recommended!

The people, the environment, & the level of talent are all crazy amazing! From day one everyone at silver sound has been so welcoming. Most if not all of them play almost every instrument known to man. Even the receptionist has a musical background!! They offer one on one sessions & they start at the students level no matter what level that maybe. I take vocal lessons and piano with one instructor and song writing & music production with another. These guys are crazy talented and extremely humble. Their first love is music and it naturally shows. I am able to be my self no matter how crazy it is and they all accept me. It’s like one big family, who are extremely professional, always on time and so very creative. I’ve been looking for a place that can accommodate my needs as a musician & I’m so happy that I’ve found silver sound. 😊

Ms. Velonis is experienced, professional, highly skilled, and easy to work with. She has a beautiful voice herself, and I'm going to miss her when she moves her business to Colorado. I am certain the music students up there will benefit greatly from her knowledge of choreography and voice.

About

About

We are the largest private music studio & recording complex in colorado Springs, if not all of colorado. Our studios are on average 3x larger than other studios in the city Each studio has a $10,000-$15,000 equipment installation to maximize your learning experience with us. We have given more private guitar lessons than any other teaching studio in colorado Springs. Our studios employ no less than 4 different guitar teachers alone with multiple teachers available every day of the week. We don't gig professionally and teach on the side. Our primary focus is teaching. Our staff have music degrees, scholarships or undertaking other professional development classes every week to not only ensure a high level of teaching but to remain current on the latest teaching strategies, genres and styles. We have been told by scores of clients who have come to us from other teachers that we understand their music, we have fun, and they learn faster. This is rarely achieved with new teachers just starting out who are finding their way as a teacher.

About

I assist students to learn how to make music and be musicians. I'm a student at CSU-Pueblo who is studying music education.

About

I have a knack for seeing solutions. I started singing in a club when I was in my teens, and had to learn from the ground up. Like most singers, I have natural potential, but potential has to be worked with to become talent. Without constantly seeking out better ways to sing, I would never have gotten to where I am. The same is true for everyone.

About

The process of teaching is not only outward as in performance skills but is also inward. I try to instill an improved sense of self worth in the student mentoring them through formative years. I also give all that is in me as a musician to help them feel and understand the depth and inspiration of the music they study.
