Our divorce and settlement was thorough and expedient. Mr. Wolf was very helpful in keeping things short, sweet, and to the point. I would highly recommend him to be square with you and your expectations. Was disappointed that I was not notified before a court hearing was scheduled that there was an issue regarding a child support reduction. Heads up! If you are represented by a lawyer in the divorce and you need the CO child support enforcement's help in collecting they will contact your lawyer instead of you directly regarding an issue of a child support reduction requested by the obligor. Mr. Wolf, however, did keep cost to a minimum through an attempted mediation and court hearing which was much appreciated and handled everything with expertise and professionalism. I do highly recommend his services and appreciate that he personally works with you - not a staff member!Nov 29, 2016
The Wolf Law Firm handled my divorce. I lived in New Hampshire and Robert communicated with me and handled everything insuring that I did not have to come out to Colorado for any the hearings. The final results and decisions were favorable and fair.Aug 12, 2017Verified
Robert Wolf met with me only once when I was initially looking for an attorney. My divorce was a particularly difficult and very painful, and Mr. Wolf was absolutely neglectful. During the most difficult time of my life, the attorney that I hired to help me through it took my money and gave me no service at all. I'm absolutely appalled with horrible this attorney is. He is unprofessional and in my opinion unethical. To make a promise to attend to a clients needs and then to abandon the client in one of the hardest situations that a person must endure is outrageous to me. I try to never ever say anything bad about anyone, but I write this review as a WARNING to others. I would hate for anyone else to have to go through what I've gone through thinking that they had someone on their side representing them and then find out that they had been deceived.Sep 28, 2016VerifiedThe Wolf Law Firm, P.C.'s reply
I respect the attorney-client privilege and would not disclose anything confidential. I will respond however that this client was provided detailed invoices and a full accounting of funds...and a prompt and full refund of unused retainer. Sadly, the attorney often gets criticized when an independent court appointed expert makes recommendations that are not in your client's favor.
Family Law Attorney
Robert did a fantastic job representing me in my child support matter. Robert successfully defended me in a contempt hearing and was successful in greatly reducing my child support in a follow up matter. I 100% had the better lawyer in my case which is what everyone desires when they need legal assistance. Robert constantly had the opposition on their heels due to his experience and expertise. Robert was knowledgeable and aggressive. He did a tremendous job defending me and I would not hesitate to hire Robert again. Super Lawyer Robert Wolf!!!Jun 12, 2017Verified
Family Law Attorney
I was going to hire this lawyer until he told me " Because your my only client that day I hope you don't mind I'll be wearing a t-shirt and jeans".Feb 10, 2015VerifiedThe Wolf Law Firm, P.C.'s reply
Guilty as charged. I wear a suit to court, but one of the perks of being self employed is that i can wear jeans and (gasp!) shorts to work when I feel like it. I even have one of my dogs with me sometime.
License Type: Attorney (CO)
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My normal retainer of $5,000 and my hourly rate of $295 for family law cases is significantly less than most attorneys with comparable experience.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Typically we meet to discuss your case in some detail and see if we are a good fit. Then we sign a basic fee agreement, pay the retainer and get started. It is not unusual for some clients to hire me a via fax or email without ever coming in to the office for a consultation. This is often the case without of state clients..
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Hire an attorney that you are comfortable with and have confidence in. How close the attorney's office is to your home or the court is not really important. Price shopping is also not the best idea. Most of us with a decent amount of experience will be in the same range of retainer and hourly rates. (although I am more reasonable than most). I would be wary of an attorney with very low rates and retainer. The same is true of very expensive attorneys.
