Tom did an excellent job and performed a very touching wedding ceremony for my daughter and her husband. Our guests raved about how meaningful it was and he did a great job of communicating with the bride and groom, the family, and wedding party! I was very impressed! I can recommend Tom without hesitation!!
Kyle is absolutely amazing! When I think therapy or counseling, I usually cringe and want to run screaming. My experience with Kyle has been very different and I find myself looking forward to my time with her. She has helped my husband and I save our marriage. I am also seeing her on an individual basis and know that I will be an emotionally healthier person because of her knowledge. Kyle immediately makes you feel comfortable and you can really feel that she cares a lot about you. Choose Kyle, you really won't regret it and your life will be even more amazing after! Steph J.
Dan is an incredible therapist and has been invaluable to my wife and I. We started sessions with him to help with our crumbling marriage. Finding a therapist you relate to and feel comfortable with can be difficult, but Dan's kind and caring nature has made this very easy. He makes us feel understood. Going into each session, I am able to be myself, feel open about saying anything, and lead the conversation wherever I want. Dan gives tangible advice that we were able to use. Our marriage is stronger than it has ever been, and we feel fortunate to have found Dan. I can't recommend him enough!
Marriage counseling with Vincent has been an opportunity to let our guard down and be honest with each other. He helped us communicate in ways that brought us closer together. Our marriage and family are stronger because of it and we recommend him to everyone we know!
Ted is an amazing counselor. I can see the difference in my marriage even after a couple of sessions. He pays attention to us and to all the details, making you feel comfortable and safe to talk about whatever its needed.
My husband and I have been seeing Laura in the Denver office for the past several months and can not begin to describe in such a short space, how much she has already helped us begin to make some headway with the communication issues that have plagued our relationship since our marriage in 2012. I find Laura to be frank and honest but also sincere, kind and attentive as a therapist. Although she can not make our decisions for us, I feel like she has always been a strong foundation in our sessions and a great sounding board for when we are confronted with all the life gunk that tends to get dumped on us from time to time. Highly recommended and a wonderful lady to boot!
Marriage counseling at the Marriage and Family Clinic was so great! We always felt comfortable even when talking about "heavier" things. Aaron never took sides and let us know up front that he will fight for our marriage until we tell him to stop. Luckily (and thanks to him) that never happened. We are now turning a page in our life and our marriage is great! Can't recommend enough!
I have personally been through many treatments and have had many therapists and mental health work for the past 3 1/2 years. The experience and information I got from my therapist at the step program was amazing. I was at a point where I was ready to engage and work in the work but how Maurico listened and also tried to explain things in a way I'd understand. It was nice to focus on the present and tools to help reach my goal and accept my past and live with it instead of focusing on things I had focused on in other programs or with other professionals. I feel like the only thing that would be been more helpful was if the program was twice a week or every other week. So thankful I got to successfully complete IOP and that i got the therapist that walked through it with me
I have known Liza for several years. She had been our family, marriage, parenting, individual, therapist for a couple of those years. Her down to earth, practical, solid biblical approach to her active therapy style was truly a God send for us. We had been through a few other counselors over the course of 10 years. Liza was able to establish what our families needs were, and was able to teach us the tools we needed to build up our parenting skills and help us with a deeper understanding of our marriage structure in a year and a half. Liza touched on things that were never brought up before and really had us doing some internal work and walking some roads that were hard but very effective. The skills and knowledge that we gained from our experience with her are are really priceless and such a deep blessing. Granted, our family was willing to do the work, but she guided us with Gods word the whole way through. I would highly recommend her to you. Her gift of empathy truly spoke to our hearts and helped us through the hardest most traumatizing events in our lives. My family was able to heal and come out of this stronger and more solid then we had prayed for.
I have been a patient of Scott's for almost a year. I started seeing him thinking he would be just like all the other therapists I had seen and that he wouldn't make a difference. He proved me wrong in our first session. He is a very kind man that really listens to what you are saying and has an amazing way of seeing things. He always helps me see things in a different light and has been able to help me through every situation I have come to him with. He has not only helped me get through my own struggles but has also been the reason I have been able to help my daughter get through her struggles. He has taught me how to communicate with her and how to be the mom she needs me to be through her trying situation. He is reliable and absolutely amazing at what he does. I feel very blessed to have met him and so thankful for everything he has done for me. Scott definitely found the right career for himself and I would highly recommend him to anybody that is looking for a therapist!
My husband and I saw Jessica for marriage counseling. It is daunting and intimidating talking to someone about your troubles, but Jessica made us feel comfortable from the first moment. From the very first session she was able to identify where we had difficulty and give us pointers to help us communicate better. It always felt like we were sitting down with a friend when we went to see her and we are so happy with the counseling she gave us. Jessica is down to earth and relatable. I would definitely recommend her practice to anyone.
I have been meeting with Ilsa for about two and a half years. She has been a huge part of my personal growth. I have seen a few therapists in my life, and she is by far been the most help to me. She has taken a lot of time and care in getting to know me, and has always gone an extra mile for me mental health. I don't think I would be where I'm at today without her help. I have already recommended her to friends, and will continue to wholeheartedly do so.
Saundra has been working with us for over five years. We do individual and marriage counseling. As my husband calls it "our marriage tune up" Saundra has helped us to grow our marriage stronger and identified and healed childhood trauma. We had referred friends and family because of the great results. It's difficult to find good counselors and more to work with minorities but Saundra was able to help us during all these years. Great counselor!
Lisa is a wonderful therapist! She is kind and compassionate and uses skills that make you feel loved and welcomed into her office. She does a great job of helping you look at a new perspective you haven’t looked at before. She is a therapist that is worth your time and money, and that is often rare to find!
Megan is an incredibly skilled, compassionate therapist and I highly recommend her for individual or couples therapy. She has a level of integrity and heart that translates to meaningful growth.
I've know Sharon for more than four years. She has helped me in such tremendous ways through major adversity in my life. She has a way of bringing faith and knowledge to make you think about your issues and to really help you see how God is moving in your life. She truly cares about what you feel and what you are going through. Going through individual and marriage counseling with Sharon has truly blessed us as individuals and as a couple. She helped me understand and have more compassion for my husband at a time that I wasn't sure I could find it. Knowing that she prayed for us also made such a difference. Before I met Sharon, We saw at least three therapist that didn't touch on the way that Sharon really handled our situation. I have the utmost respect for Sharon, and I am more than grateful to her.
I contacted Gloria because her profile looked like she'd have a more personal approach than the other therapist I saw. I was right. We clicked right away and I knew she "got" where I was coming from. I thought I was headed for couples counseling but with Gloria's help I'm able to see my role in my relationship and so far I'm getting along so much better with my partner. I never realized how much my family affected me growing up or why I had a hard time in relationships. Thanks to Gloria I'm so much better. She always says it was me who did the work but I never would have gotten here without her.
George MacIlwinen is the Horse Whisperer of young adults struggling to find their footing in their transition to adulthood. Our son had a history of difficult medical problems in childhood that prevented him from achieving developmental milestones and left him as an anxious young adult, depressed, over-medicated and isolated. Over the years we ran through many therapists and programs and our son had grown skeptical of their effectiveness. All that changed when we met George MacIlwinen. George's contributions to our son's life and our family's life are so extensive, it would take pages to catalog them. First and foremost, George understood our son like no one had before, he understood the trauma that our son had experienced and the gaps in his development. Most important, he saw our son's potential and his prospects for a good future. Therapeutically, George is a creative and independent thinker. He has an over-arching philosophy, but within that he is adaptive. For our son he followed a holistic approach incorporating experiential therapy and psychotherapy together with a strong emphasis on healthy life habits including reduced medications, physical fitness and diet. He has also been especially proactive in helping our son develop social skills. Personally, George is calm, empathetic and friendly. He's genuine with an easy smile. He is an excellent listener; he's insightful. George models the healthy behavioral habits that he advocates. He's a natural mentor and educator and has provided invaluable counseling and guidance to our son and to us. George MacIlwinen is an amazing therapist. Meeting him has been one of the single best things that has ever happened to our family. It's a great pleasure to recommend him to you.
Whitney has taken on my husband and I for couples therapy. So far so good, we are working on personal issues that are affecting our marriage. I am thankful that we have found someone to guide us in building on ourselves and our relationship
