We have a home security system that stopped working on our satellite computers because of a bad bridge. Shawn came over and with due diligence, figured out the problem and solved it. Unfortunately, a couple of weeks afterward, our router quit working as well. I replaced that, but the bridge wouldn't communicate again. Shawn and his son, Alex, came over and fixed it! Shawn's Computer Repair is a GREAT company. They are very easy to work with and very knowledgeable. I would very highly recommend them for your computer repair/upgrade. - How did you get started doing this type of work?Shawn was a technical support director for a software company here in Denver. He enjoyed talking to people and helping solve frustrating problems with their computers. The largest need is educating customers about whats going on and encouraging them to not be afraid of technology. When we fix any given problem for a customer, We are hero's.....We like that!
- What types of customers have you worked with?Malware and virus's.....We see too much of it. Hardware updates and replacement. Software updates and installations.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?We had a customer come to us with a laptop that had a bad motherboard. He had bought a used replacement motherboard for his laptop, but got a bit of shock when he went to Geek Squad to have them put it in. We were able to do the job for him and save him quite a bit of money, again we are hero's in his book.
