Amanda was a life saver. I was way to busy to plan my wedding so she took everything off my plate. She also paid close attention to my needs.Apr 6, 2020VerifiedThe Event Troupe's reply
Thank you, Liz. I truly enjoyed working with you. Your wedding was very much a "fairytale." Thank you for being so awesome, and best wishes to you always.
I cannot say enough good things about Amanda. She is an expert with an amazing treasure chest of decorations to make your wedding even more stunning. She is extremely organized and responsive. She goes above and beyond to ensure your big day is special. We adored working with her and would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat. You would be nuts to go with anyone else!Sep 24, 2019VerifiedThe Event Troupe's reply
Thank you Steph and Jason. You both were such amazing clients and a fantastic couple all the way around. I truly miss talking with you all weekly!
Events@5280 was a lifesaver. Our previous wedding planner tried to raise her fee in the middle of the wedding planning process and Amanda at Events@5280 rescued us. Amanda is an absolute professional, but she's also fun to work with. She understood our vision and in about a month, was able to craft the most beautiful wedding we could have imagined. People are still talking about the personal touches she added, and even the employees of our wedding venue commented on it being a pleasure to work with Amanda. She has many contacts across the industry, and we couldn't be happier with the people she brought in to help with the wedding. We truly can't recommend her enough!Jul 26, 2019VerifiedThe Event Troupe's reply

Thank you, Ty! I loved helping you and Katy, and your park-side wedding turned out so lovely. It's fun to think back when we started the process 6 months ago you had a vision but needed a jumpstart. I'm so happy to have worked with you both and I wish you the best!
Our wedding would not have gone nearly as smoothly as it did without Amanda. She stayed on top of all the little details, was extremely responsive to changes and updates, and kept everything organized.Sep 14, 2018Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? While I"m flexible with your needs, basically brides want two options: Wedding Management and Full-Service Planning. I offer both, and we can talk about your vision of planning your perfect wedding. Wedding Management includes timeline, vendor referrals and management, diagrams, VIP lists, design brainstorming, ceremony structure, rehearsal the night before, and all day on the wedding. Wedding Planning includes all of the above, but means I book your vendors and plan the decor/mood boards, manage your event budget, and includes a lot more meetings. For all of my clients, I handle your linens and rentals as well.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I offer a free, one-hour consultation, which is the best way to get to know someone. I think it's impossible to make the best decision without talking to people face-to-face. You'll get a feel for their style, energy and work ethic immediately. Let's sit and talk about your ideas and how I can help implement them...and maybe enjoy a glass of wine while talking. Once the contract is signed, we will have a "Welcome to the Troupe" meeting where we review the process and discuss your inspiration and goals. Overall, for "management" I provide you with worksheets to complete to fill me in on your planning and goals; we also do a logistical meeting and a design meeting. I prepare and manage your 30-day walk through and rehearsal as well. For "planning" we also do mood board meetings, I will secure your vendor contracts, and work with you on ordering all of your "stuff"...which usually includes cake knife/server, cake topper, card box, welcome sign, parting gifts, wedding party gifts, etc.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have nearly 30 years in event planning, a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, and a Master's degree in public relations. I started my career in non-profit fundraising events. From there I started creating and producing major television events from trade fairs to formal network dinners. And then I worked for a decade in high-end events for presidents of a major university. Today, I spend my time working with private clients enjoying the fresh spirit each one brings.
