Introduction: Hello! My name is Kristen Whitehead and I own and operate Helios Landscape Design. We design residential landscapes located along the Colorado Front Range and focus on sustainable, earth-friendly landscape design. Uniting outdoor living spaces with the true surroundings. Our job is focused on creating a beautiful landscape plan that fits the needs of you and your family to enjoy for years to come!
Whether you need a plan to submit to your HOA for the landscape of your new home or you'd like to renovate your existing landscape we can help. Although we do not do the actual installation, we can either suggest local contractors to use or you can use your favorite landscaper. We can either meet you on-site or virtually to discuss your landscaping needs.
We approach the landscape design two ways depending on which direction you'd like to go:
Comprehensive Landscape Design
- In-person + on-site initial consultation
- Design Proposal Sent via email. Pricing starts at $1200 depending on
size and scope of work
- Site Analysis: pictures and measurements of the existing site by
designer
- 3 hand-drawn concepts emailed to homeowners
- Preliminary plan + 3D rendering
- Revisions included
- Final Landscape Design Meeting Plants, materials, and structures
called out.
- Personal + detailed
- This approach is good for people that may have a larger project and
need to be more detailed. Also, this method is good if homeowners
feel more comfortable communicating on-site and in person.
Online Landscape Design
- Phone call, initial consultation to discuss landscaping goals
- Design Proposal sent via email. Pricing starts at $950 depending on
size and scope of work
- Site analysis by the client. Please provide site plans, measurements
and photos of the site to be designed
- 3 hand-drawn concepts emailed to homeowners
- Preliminary plan + 3D rendering provided by email within 2 weeks after
concepts are reviewed
- Revisions included
- Final revised plan emailed. Plants, materials and structures called out.
- Cost effective + quicker design on your schedule
- This approach may be good for people that have a new build home in an
HOA neighborhood and need a plan to submit. Or people that would
like to DIY and just need ideas!
Both design approaches are intended for a landscape installer to use our plan as a road map. Using a plan like ours will have the layout and plant material thoughtfully planned out just for you and your family's needs.
