Liz is amazing! I have seen her as a clinical herbalist and as a massage therapist and I highly recommend her in both roles. She is so nice, knowledgeable, and helpful! She has helped me so much.Aug 25, 2018Health in Essence LLC's reply
Thank for for the kind words Genevieve, but It think you have done so much for yourself on your own too. Happy to team up with you! :)
Thank you, Liz! Thank you for revitalizing my heart and soul, for re-grounding and realigning my body, for putting me into a state of bliss... every single session with you is heavenly. Thank you for all of the times you have brought me back to life (remember when I threw my back out and thought I would never be able to walk again?). Liz is a powerful healer, I highly recommend her to anyone and everyone! She is knowledgeable in many realms of therapy which makes her healing work even more divine. THANK YOU.Jan 16, 2019Health in Essence LLC's reply
Thank you so much for taking care of yourself and taking time to come to me to help you with that. I'm blessed to have such amazing clients on my table and in consultation. Yes I do remember that time you threw your back out of whack, more self care, less overwork was the answer :) Maya you teach me so much about healing, you have no idea. All of my clients do, it's an honor and a privilege to be of service.

Thank you Lori! Looking forward to our next session! :)
I drive all the way from Denver to see Liz. She’s an amazing body worker (probably the best I’ve ever experienced) and a fantastic herbalist too! I love combining the two therapies for a holistic approach to health and healing.Sep 9, 2018Health in Essence LLC's reply

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? All of my discounted fees are on services. Remedies, whether herbal, essential oil, or flower essence, etc are charged separately. I offer sliding scale pricing for elders 65+ on fixed incomes. I offer a 10% discount to our military, fire and police persons. I also offer package discounts for massage at the 6 and 12 session prepaid punch card levels for both 60 and 90 minute massages. Occasional I run promotional offers also, if you are on my mailing list you will receive such offers. I have a sliding scale option for people in need for Wellness Consultations (health through herbs, nutrition, lifestyle etc) as well starting at $35 - $75/hour. This does not include the cost of any herbal formulations, flower essences or aromatherapy blends given.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I have the client fill out an intake form. We discuss their needs, their health history, present medical conditions, previous surgeries, current medications and their health goals for the session and beyond. I explain what we will be doing, check in with comfort levels. For massage, I tailor the session to the current need and this may include additions of heat/cold, herbal preparations, flower essences or aromatherapy to name the most common. I work within my clients comfort zones and "listen" to what their body is telling me that it needs. In wellness consultations there is a more in-depth intake form that cover everything from health concerns, medical and familial history, body systems overview and much health detail. Intake info is filled out at home before the session ideally and we review it together in session to dig deeper. A protocol is developed with client input and we begin to make changes at the level that the client is willing and compliant toward their health goals. The initial consult is 2 hours, with follow up sessions being one hour each. Clients are charged by the hour. Depending on the client condition we have a minimum of one follow up session after the initial intake and in most involved cases see real change at about 6 session or more, but it all varies with circumstance.
