Brian was nice and professional to talk to, and true to his word, as he provided me with the will after paying the fee. That being said, the will that was created was very general and honestly something I could have created on LegalZoom or by simply Googling an example. I hired a professional, as I have a scenario where I feel like it is going to be very important and necessary; which I stressed with him. This will isn't designed with my scenario in mind. In fact, I can use the exact will that he provided me as a template for any will, which tells you that it's not specific enough for unique circumstances. I had additional lawyers look into the will after the fact and some of the key components of a strong will seemed to be missing. The legal counsel I had review it suggested some key aspects were missing. For example stating the individual is of sound mind when creating and signing the will, the decision to exclude individuals was consciously done and the lack of contingency plans in the will in case something happens to the designated individuals in the will, etc. If you need something basic, something quick and general, I would encourage you to go with Brian. If you need something more in depth to protect you and your loved ones, I would encourage you to seek other Council.

Hi Matthew, I appreciate the feedback, and I'm sorry that you feel the will I drafted was too general. Since there was only one beneficiary for the entire estate, and no specific bequests or contingencies that were requested by you, the will was necessarily simple. And, just a note that every will I draft contains the following statement that the individual signing the will is of sound mind: "I publish and sign this Last Will and Testament on __________________________, 2018, and declare that I do so freely, for the purposes expressed, under no constraint or undue influence, and that I am of sound mind and of legal age." Since you requested a basic will with a sole beneficiary and no contingencies, that is the type of will I drafted for you. I am happy to revise any will at any point for free, if it is ever insufficient for your requested purposes.

Brian certainly made what I thought would be a drawn out tedious task a simple chore! I'm on a very low fixed income and his costs were more than half of most attorneys for the same simple deed, in my case, a simple will and testament just in case I do perish before I intend to! Money well spent!
