Latest Review: My son started piano lessons at 5 years old, and then at 7 years he started taking lessons from Gary. The past two years of lessons with Gary have been incredible. Gary does an excellent job of teaching him proper piano techniques and skills such as timing, body position, rhythm but make it fun. My son had already developed some “bad habits” or not learned them correctly the first two years of lessons. Gary worked diligently to make sure those were corrected and he had a good foundation and has improved exponentially these past two years. Gary incorporates songs my son is familiar with into his lessons as well as technique practice. With his improvement over the past two years, he has also developed a love for playing and frequently asks if he can practice rather than me having to constantly remind him to practice. I highly recommend Gary as a piano instructor and we hope to have several years of him teaching our children.

Latest Review: I studied with Raisa for a few years growing up and it was her teaching that made notes and sheet music transform into musicianship for me. She helped me understand how to put feeling in everything I played and how to really play from my heart. Not only her piano lessons but her life lessons were passed onto me through her love of music and her gigantic heart.

Latest Review: We are very happy with the piano lessons Genevieve provides to our 9 year old son and our 7 year old daughter. They enjoy learning from her and they're given lots of choices for what they want to play. She's also very flexible with rearranging lesson times if we have to miss. The recitals and sectionals have been fun and helpful too, and we are looking forward to the summer camp if it works with our schedule. :)

Latest Review: Egemen is a world famous composer and we were lucky to come across him. He is wonderful with my kids, ages 5 and 6, who absolutely adore him. Egeman has been teaching them at our home and I am super excited he will be teaching from a studio as well. There are plenty of piano teachers around, but none so talented and genuine as Egeman.

Latest Review: My son was hesitant to start his guitar lessons, and if he didn’t like it, it would be a major ordeal to get him in the car to go. I work like everyone and have zero time left. The fact that Tess comes to the house to teach - while I prepare dinner - is freaking awesome. What a time saver. And shes made it a great experience by offering tons of encouragement and lots of laughter wrapped up in a neat 30 min session. Highly recommend.

Latest Review: Our family first met Annika in 2013 when my daughter and I began learning to play the violin. My daughter says, "Annika is friendly and good at explaining things." I second that; and, would add "patience" to the list of descriptors. We felt so lucky to find in the Annika in the busy DC area where the demand for good music teachers is so great. I have absolutely no hesitation recommending her. We really miss her!

Latest Review: I love to play the piano! I enjoy my lessons with Mr. Fowler and also like that he plays the guitar sometimes while I am playing the piano. I like that we also work on other songs that I like, (Journey and Johnny Cash) besides just the lesson books. Ben, 10 year old student

Latest Review: ABC Music Academy is the place to send students of any age who aspire to become quality musicians. Lori's musical experience and abilities are top notch on any of the instruments she teaches. She enjoys teaching younger students and makes their lessons creative and encouraging. She communicates well with parents and plans performing opportunities for even the youngest beginner while including students who are more skilled. She also plans events for the Christmas season and other community opportunities. She is simply the best, and I would highly recommend her.

Latest Review: Very friendly and available to start same day! She is an expert musician and explained beginning music theory in a very creative way to my 7yo. She was very gentle/encouraging/inspiring to my tenderhearted (and a bit fearful) piano beginner. Very happy with Teresa!
