I found Brenda on Thumbtack. I was really stressed because of an unanticipated and relatively short window for the planning necessary to give our son and his fiancé a backyard wedding...inheritance of coronavirus disruption. Brenda responded to my inquiry almost immediately. She was welcoming—clear about her work, her experience and her costs. We had a chance to talk about what I hoped for and what the layout of the event might be. She was flexible and instilled confidence in me, even as many of the details were not fully in place. Brenda reassured me, the day before the wedding, that she was prepared, knew where we were located, and would be on time. While these may sound like simple courtesy’s that one might assume, little In my effort to pull things together during this unpredictable time turned out to be safe assumptions. Brenda arrived on time, worked comfortably with everyone, was warm and attentive but with her own perspective. In such a small group I feared it might be uncomfortable having a “stranger“ present but she was the kind of person who put people at ease, ttentive without being intrusive. Brenda worked hard during the whole time she was here. Took gobs of pictures and By the following evening had sent a handful of “teasers” that we’re just lovely. Within the week, she attached digital copies of several hundred pictures that I could/can print, edit, or just cherish. There was a lot of excitement in our group about the photos and she added substantial joy to our day. I would recommend her without reservation!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I always speak with my customers before the shoot to discuss pricing. My packages are set and include fully edited images in an online gallery with the option to download (included) or to purchase prints.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I really like to find out as much information about my clients as possible before a photo shoot. I usually send a questionnaire to be filled out and returned.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have attended numerous photography classes, including Portrait Photography, Photojournalism, and Photography 1 and 2.
