About this pro

How does your business stand out?

I listen to what you want in a ceremony and suggest options that most couples like to add to make the ceremony memorable...i.e. the Sand Ceremony, the Blessing Stones, Celtic Hand Fasting.....or cultural traditions...or including children or other family. I like to show a little humor in the rehearsal and help people to feel engaged to the meaningful rite of passage.

What do you enjoy about the work you do?

Marriages is a rite of passage that symbolizes a major event in one's life. I like to help couples feel the love and meaning of that event.

Reverend Kent is wonderful. He is patient and understanding. He gave us options to choose from for our ceremony but also made sure we knew we could add other things if we chose to do so. He made us feel very comfortable throughout the whole process!

    Great for a Dramatic Ceremony
We were very happy with the passages that Reverend Kent suggested and with his performance at our ceremony. He is a very nice person and got along well with our guests. He does like to add flourishes like having the bridesmaids curtsy to the bride and having the bridal party fist-pump with a "We do!" response during the ceremony, and though he was fairly resistant to our wanting to remove those parts, he did accommodate our requests in the end. He did also quote me at $190 for the ceremony and $50 for the rehearsal, but after our 1 1/2 hr consultation, that price increased to $325. He said this was based on what we wanted in our ceremony, and upon realizing that the price was per-passage, we removed the sand ceremony which reduced cost. I think part of the increase was also because we didn't have a coordinator, but we also didn't ask for coordination services because we wanted to do that ourselves. Overall, Kent is great for knowing exactly what he wants in a ceremony, and so I'd suggest couples ensure that during the consultation, they make sure that their ideas align with his.

We could not have asked for a better minister to conduct our ceremony. After a brief meeting with us, Rev. Kent was able to tailor a ceremony that was 100% befitting to us as a couple. Rev. Kent was humorous, sensitive, caring and personable. We had many comments after our ceremony, telling us how wonderful everything was. It would not have been that wonderful ceremony without Rev. Kent.

Rev. Kent was the perfect officiant for our wedding. We wanted a very spiritual wedding that reflected our beliefs about having a personal relationship with God, both as individuals and as a couple. Rev. Kent was open-hearted and open-minded enough to allow us to create the ideal ceremony for our union - keeping the focal point being that it was blessed within the Presence of God, with our family as participants in the wedding. I was very particular about the wording and ritual aspects of the ceremony, and Rev. Kent obliged my every wish. I couldn't be happier with how our ceremony turned out. Thank you so much!

Rev. Kent Robertson married my husband Erik and I in Estes park. Erik is in the army which means trying to plan any large event around his tentative leave is surely chaotic. Kent was flexible, accommodating , and made the ceremony itself truely magical. Thank you!!

He was very warm and welcoming, made our ceremony about us! He made it through a snow storm to perform our ceremony in Lyons. It was wonderful and he even wanted to stay to meet my guest. Felt like we were worth a old friend
