Introduction: I think when you're passionate about what you do, it shows in your work. I definitely love what I do. But, I think the biggest difference between me and so many other "photographers" today is that I have a sound technical base having gone to school to study photography. I understand light, I control the camera, it doesn't control me. What that means for the client is that I don't have to work about the technical side when I'm shooting giving me the freedom to be more creative. On the back end, I don't have to use Photoshop to fix photos. I can use it to enhance. And since I understand Photoshop so well, when I'm shooting, I can shoot knowing how I will enhance it in Photoshop later. It just makes my work more distinctive. I love photography. I love being behind the camera, being a witness to some pretty major events in peoples lives. It's a privilege to be entrusted with that. I enjoy people, I enjoy their enthusiasm. I love being able to get them to relax so that the photos are more representative of who they are. Mine is a fun job!

Our experience with o Photography has been outstanding. Tena has taken all of our family photos, Xmas cards, and now our boys graduation. She makes each sitting unique and special. We always feel like her number one client. We have also purchased several of her artistic prints for our home. We get such great compliments on each print. We would not use another photographer.

Tena is a fantastic photographer! I hired her to photograph my wedding this past August. She was there with me the entire day to photograph every moment. She got back to me with photos after the wedding in the time that she said she would. Everything turned out beautiful! I couldn't of asked for a better photographer to capture my special day. Not only were the photos great, but she worked with my husband and I to get the package we wanted on the budget we could afford. She is great about working with you and she'll exceed your expectations! The only downfall was trying to pick which photo was my favorite!

Tena did our wedding photos in 2012 and she is absolutely amazing and so accommodating. It was great to have a second photographer, who was also amazing. The pictures were unbelievably gorgeous! She is so artistic and keeps the couples wishes her priority! She makes the photography side of the wedding planning stress-free...and fun! We couldn't have found a more perfect photographer to capture our wedding day.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always loved photography, was even on the yearbook staff as a photographer in High School. One day I just decided to make it my career!
What types of customers have you worked with?
Weddings are a passion so those I photograph most often. I also photograph quite a lot of High School Seniors and babies. My latest series is of athletes which combines a couple of my passions!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure the photographer you hire is a professional. Not everyone with a camera is a photographer....especially with weddings, you only get one chance and photos are the thing you save from that day. Just ask "Is this your primary source of income?". A professional photographer does this full time.
