Kyler did an outstanding job on our kitchen cabinets. He was very easy to work with, showed up when he said he would, and did the work he said he could do. We couldn’t be happier with the finished product. I would highly recommend Kyler and Crown 1 and would not hesitate to hire him again.Aug 15, 2020Verified

Crown 1 Inc. was an amazing choice for our home. You really get what you pay for. We almost went with a cheaper price but after reviewing both products the paint quality from Kyler at Crown 1 was extravagant. The paint on our carpenter choice cabinets feels and looks just like we installed brand new cabinets. Pete and Kyler have been amazing to work with and we look forward working with them in the future to upgrade our bathroom cabinets.Dec 23, 2020Verified

Kyler paid particular attention to the details of glaze work and distressing we were looking for. He genuinely listened to our desires and made our dreams come to life. The quality of the paint and finish is the best I’ve seen. It doesn’t look like a home paint job at all, the laminate finish gives them a custom factory cabinet look. I am beyond thrilled with my new kitchen and can’t wait to finish my basement with Kyler and his crew.Sep 19, 2020Crown 1 Inc's reply

Kyler at Crown 1 painted my 1990's era oak cabinets and I am awestruck by the transformation. My kitchen looks brand new. Kyler is wonderful to work with and kept in contact throughout the process. I would give them 10 stars if I could.Aug 17, 2020

This company did an outstanding job updating our builder grade oak kitchen cabinets into beautiful painted white cabinets. They are professional yet friendly and helpful. I was worried that the oak wouldn't take the paint well and there would be too much grain showing but Kyler made certain they had a beautiful finish. I'm very very pleased and highly recommend them, not only for the quality of their work but also the value. Their price was well below other quotes I got. Now I love my kitchen and have gotten lots of compliments on it.Aug 29, 2019Crown 1 Inc's reply
Thank you so very much!
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I’d like to think it’s competitive for the quality of work provided , don’t do credit cards , I try and offer options when possible to fit into a clients budget. I can say that the level of finishes I offer are not going to be the cheapest option. However I think anyone would agree that cost most often reflects quality and it really comes down to the client and they’re values .
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Basic intro, free in home estimate and finish consultation, estimate following in a day or 2, if new client chooses to move forward we look at schedules. Once we have a deposit we then look at the most important part of any refinishing project.. finish and color choices. After color(s) are decoded on the work begins!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have real working experience of course and also hold a certification from upscale Wood finishing, continual mentoring as well from my peers who all have over 30+years in the finishing industry. I also attend classes on a regular basis so I can stay informed of new products and the ever changing government regs. I also personally enjoy creating new finish techniques and run experiments with coatings to see how they perform in the real world . Lastly I’ve been blessed to be a part of some cutting edge technology that’s up and coming, very exciting to see what direction it’ll go. I try and stay reachable and teachable I certainly don’t know it all, this industry is fun and I enjoy being a part of it.
