- How did you get started doing this type of work?
A friend of mine who was raised with a baker as a father was wanting to start doing wedding cakes. Honestly I got roped in and was quickly hooked! 15 years later, I still love it!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I typically stick to wedding cakes and will use photos provided by the couple to piece together a cake that is exactly what they want. The couples will usually provide 3-4 pictures of cakes they like and point out what it is about each cake that they like. I then take each of those details and put them together to make the cake they love!
