Introduction: No matter the size of your job or the amount of clutter, I will help you reach your organizing/decluttering goals. Some people know exactly what needs to be done, and some people just know "something needs to be done" and I will make you successful either way. I work in a very caring and practical way to help you see results the very first time we work together. Some organizers say they "love to organize", but I love to help others through organizing and decluttering; there is a difference. I have helped clients declutter spare bedrooms to turn into home offices, regain usable living space throughout entire levels of homes, and all size projects in between. I've also worked in crawl spaces, storage rooms and garages, so whatever and wherever you need to declutter or organize, I am ready to help! Organizing: Proper home organization will help your household run more efficiently and enable you to achieve your goals. From the kitchen to the home office, to the garage and to the basement, getting your home organized will help it function better and make you feel more comfortable in your home. I can help you get there. Decluttering: Over time, for many different reasons, things can start to pile up around your home. I will help you envision how you would like your space to look and function, and help you make it happen in a kind, patient and understanding way. Downsizing: If you are planning to move “sometime down the road” and you know you need to start the downsizing process, I can help you get the ball rolling and work with you over time to ensure that when the time comes for you to pack up, you feel confident that you’ll be taking only what you really need and what you really treasure. However, if there is a sudden need to downsize like moving a loved one into a facility or sorting through and distributing an estate, a very careful and specific plan will help you and your family get through some potentially difficult and emotional times. Pre-move purge: Moving from one home to the next is a perfect time to evaluate your belongings and see what items don’t need to make the move with you. The less stuff you have, the easier and less expensive your move can be and the nicer your home will look to potential buyers. I will help you look through all those tucked away spaces and help you let go of unused and unwanted items, so you won’t have to think “Why did I pack this???” on the other end. Organizing, decluttering, downsizing and doing a pre-move purge all have obvious benefits, but there are some other benefits that you might not think of like: more time with family, less stress and anxiety, a sense of accomplishment, and an overall happier outlook. I recently moved into a small apartment and the task of organizing my belongings was a daunting task to tackle alone. Working with Beth to organize my home was a complete joy. It is challenging today to find individuals with detailed listening skills. Beth did a fabulous job of hearing the need and then providing the encouragement, expertise and motivation to get it done. I had just moved from sharing an apartment with roommates where I only had to worry about 1 room to a studio to fill and lots and lots of boxes!! Beth was so patient with me and we went through every box, every area of the apartment, and even my long-standing junk drawers! She was very helpful in helping me to decide the best way to arrange the space to best fit my needs, with helping to decorate, and also with organization! It's one thing to have the apartment look clean, but it's another to know that all of your drawers, boxes, and closets are organized and there's a spot for everything! Whenever I try to clean or organize by myself, I get distracted or give up and throw things into random drawers or boxes, but Beth was helpful in keeping motivated and helped me think about different ways to group my stuff to help me best. She listened to what I wanted the space to look like and my interests and encouraged me to keep out some items other professionals may think were 'not stylish' or mature; like my array of Disney items, references to my favorite tv shows, and photo collages of my friends and family. Thank you Beth for turning my cluttered studio into a home I can feel proud of! I can't wait to entertain in my new apartment!
