Phil has been providing guitar lessons for our son for four years. In that time, our son has grown as a musician and as a person. Phil instructs with patience and skill, and we are grateful for his contribution to our son's passion.
Povi had some great input for my voice training. She really knows what she's talking about and is super positive and fun! Highly recommended for singing lessons.
Rick Taylor is the best guitar teacher I've ever had for both myself and my daughter. He's worked with my daughter for years and has taught her to play the acoustic and electric guitar as well as the bass. He also teaches music theory and voice. I've just started lessons and am in awe of his talent. We've worked on several music genres and playing techniques; he knows everything. He's a nice guy and patient; great with kids too. I can't say enough good things about him. If you want to learn guitar or you want your child to learn to play; Rick Taylor is an outstanding teacher.
Vicki did a wonderful job with me. If she hadn't moved away, she would still be my go-to for vocal lessons. As a recording artist, she took the time to help me retain what makes me unique while making improvements. Highly recommended!
Armour and her guitarist, Ryan, arrived on time and set up in my living room. The song, O, Holy Night, was a Christmas gift for my husband. She sang beautifully and at the end of the song when she hit the high notes, my dog, Pebbles, tried to sing along :) Armour, my husband and I thank you so much!
Honestly, taking lessons wasn't my thing! but.... my wife found Silversound guitar online and suggested that I take a lesson. I've been playing for too many years, and definitely not knowing as much as I should for how long i've been playing! :P Jon Gillin is my instructor at Silversound, and he was able to look at where I was with my playing and help me move on in my musical progression! (that's obviously what I needed) Thanks Jon and Silversound for putting me back on track with my playing!
Jayma worked with me as a music teacher, and informal life coach. Her love of art and people is inspiring. During my time with her I learned the basics of tonal harmony and vocal technique, along with some fine points of metaphor and song craft. Her organization was not heavily focused on my lessons however, which allowed me as a student to drift without much tangible progress to a focused goal. With that in mind, I learned a lot. Jayma helped me create a base for my goals as a musician, and my happiness as a person.
Megan has a great approach to teaching voice that has really helped me. Her vocal technique is excellent and easy to learn and apply. I have improved a lot in a short period of time. I'm looking forward to more lessons to come!
I've been getting piano lessons from Jen for a few months now. She's been fantastic! I've learned a lot and have a much better understanding of music. I look forward to each lesson.
I had a great experience with Damion when I took some Piano lessons at Rocky Mountain Academy of Music. They have a great open studio in Colorado Springs. I recommend all my family and friends to this studio.
Love that she comes to our home, as getting out is difficult. She is very positive and compliments my daughter often, keeping her excited about music.
Piano lessons from the sweetest teacher EVER!! 5 stars! Lots of patience and amazing teaching skills! Thank you!! Highly recommended!
There are many teachers at Groh Music Academy. I study with Cindy Saunders.
I do vocal lessons and beginning guitar lessons and can record you, so you have a good idea of what you sound like and how to improve.

I have played guitar and sang since I was 8 years old. I love music, and I love to teach. The music I write branches from country to alternative rock. Age preferred is over 10 years old. This just branches from wanting my clients to be able to learn.
I'm all about making sure that students are having fun while learning to play original compositions or covers of their favorite songs. I believe music is a matter felt with the heart but mastered with the mind. I teach all styles but I specialize in the art of improvisation, teaching students to create soulful solos in a free flowing steam of musical goodness. That's not to say I don't teach beginners as well, I love teaching the basics. All great construtions are built with sound building blocks, patience and dedication.
I am an experienced teacher, with BM and MM degrees, who offers expert piano and voice lessons. I teach beginners to intermediate students of all ages.
