We were so disappointed. He promotes that he'll MC the wedding and provides an awesome website to lay out a timeline and pick your songs, however he does the opposite. We had to ask him multiple times to announce things. The way he "dismissed" the tables for dinner was by telling them a number and walking away....he didn't announce anything. Our photographers even had to ask him to announce things laid out in the timeline. He didn't ask for others to join during our special dances, so we were left awkwardly dancing alone the whole song. Music was inaudible during our cocktail hour. He started playing the dance music super loud and on hyper speed. Again, we were so disappointed. We really thought he was going to be a fun, organized MC but he was more worry than help

Hi Julie, thank you for taking the time to write a candid review. I am truly sorry that you were so disappointed with my services. A couple of points and corrections on your review.. 1. In the contract, it is clearly stated that the area for the DJ is to be adjacent to the dance floor, not on the opposite side of the room. 2. With your timeline, I recall having to "chase you down" to ask you if you were ready for events... (first dance, last dance) The photographers were asking me to let them know when things were going to happen. 3. With tables and dismissing them for dinner, this is something that needs to be worked out before the event so that we can have custom trivia and other activities ready to go. Asking me to do this right as dinner is served is a little unfair. I did number the tables, and was preparing to dismiss them one by one, but you had evidently also asked another to do the same thing. I own the fact that folks were not asked to join in on your special dances and that one song played at a faster tempo. With the cramped area I was placed in, a control had gotten bumped by a guest and I didn't catch it until the song had started playing. My abject apologies for that snafu. With having guest tables crammed up right against the DJ booth and speakers and the head table completely across the room with no place to put additional speakers, and guests at the close tables asking me numerous times to lower the volume so they could talk without having to shout, I can understand why you weren't able to hear a lot of it. Again, I can only work within the parameters I'm given. From what I was told by family members and by your comment to my assistant, you were "flying by the seat of your pants" when putting your reception together. Again, I apologize that you were disappointed and take my share of responsibility. Ironically, both your mom and Brad came to me after the reception and told me that it was wonderful and they had a great time. All the best to you both in your life together.

Unlike a lot of other DJ's, I charge by the hour rather than by event. This has proven to save my clients hundreds of dollars. We have two packages, please contact us for details.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to learn about my client's expectations and dreams for their event through either Skype, IM or other communications.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from the School of Hard Knox.. lol. Seriously, over 30 years in the biz and working as a disc jockey at my college's radio station in the mid 80's has given me a lot of practical experience. I've been a public speaker for many years in many different areas.. from teaching aspiring referees to conducting sales training seminars.
