I have worked with the Creative Bearings team for several years (as their photographer) on many large projects. The creative genius and founder is also part of the ever expanding art scene in Steamboat Springs. Combining Greg's painting background with his intuitive understanding of everything digital allows him unlimited creative vision. Clients are often barraged with ideas when in the design phase of a project. There is never a shortage of ideas when Greg's mind is clicking. Leslie has the communication gift of a Manhattan business mogul with the charm and understanding of an active mountain town mom. Her organizational skills and business sense is what has allowed CB to start considering a larger global clientele. Small town hospitality with a big city talent base, and when you are in Steamboat Springs visiting, there is always freshly brewed coffee and a happy lap dog waiting to greet you.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Not complicated. Think of a menu, select the desired dish, make substitutions and the price is still the same. No surprises. Every quote is individualized by the client's needs, not by how many hours or substitutions happened within the development.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are always working on staying on top of the latest software, hardware, servers and follow trend setters in design, advertising and website designs.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Our founder, Gregory Effinger was a fine artist and illustrator before starting Creative Bearings in 1989. His work was available at world-class galleries. Nevertheless, his desire to design, market and work with professionals out-weighed his desire to paint in seclusion. He still does unique watercolor and oils today, but not on the same scale as before.
