We could not have been more pleased with Forest and the entire crew from Beyond Boundaries. When I initially started thinking about our bathroom remodel in the fall, the hardest part was finding a contractor who seemed interested in taking on such a small project (Denver contractors are busy these days!). Thankfully, thumbtack helped connect me with Beyond Boundaries. From the beginning, Forest made us feel like our project was important. He and his crew paid great attention to detail, were highly communicative, and took pride in their work. From Noe (who did the tile work), to the painter, electrician, glass door installer and plumbers, everyone was friendly, hard working, and went above and beyond. We couldn't be happier with the result. We will definitely be using Beyond Boundaries on all future home projects! Thanks to Forest and the team!
New flooring was installed beautifully and interwoven with existing floor and entire area was refinished. The color worked well, however the finish didn't match the finish on an adjacent pre-existing floor. They cam back and redid the finish to a much better outcome. We appreciated that they were more than willing to make it the way we wanted.
They redid my kitchen. They put in new cabinets, washer, dryer, Oven/microwave, A warming tray, installed a new window... Installed a kitchen Island....put in a new sink and a pot filler. They were always on time and very professional!
Uriel and his crew were outstanding! We needed a large, new addition primed and painted. We had a challenging time-line, some tricky circumstances and a tight budget. Uriel was incredibly helpful. He worked with us on price and then went above and beyond in his work, doing hours of work above the original quote/bid at no additional charge. He not only painted but repaired problems with the drywall installation and texturing. Sadly, these days we have come not to expect much in the way of pride in one's work when contracting trades folk...it was a great surprise to meet Uriel and experience someone who takes enormous pride in his work and takes extra steps to do the job right and exceed the home owner's expectations. On top of all of this, Uriel and his crew were a delight to interact with - kind, accommodating and easy to converse with. We would highly recommend Uriel Painting & Remodeling.
Wed Aug 16, 8:18 PM If you’re contemplating hiring a good General Contractor, Daniel Gonzalez and his construction teams are your guys! We hired Daniel to finish 1,300 square feet including an extra bedroom, laundry area, storage room and quilt studio in our basement. Daniel gave a fair quote and he brought top notch teams and hard working guys to the project! His electrician did an excellent job installing all new electrical; and his HVAC guy ran new heat ducts and installed a whole house humidifier. The plumber ran new plumbing for a utility sink and washing machine. The framer did a fabulous job independently building our design to our exact specifications and even added decorative arches. The drywall guys hauled in heavy drywall sheets one-by-one because it wouldn’t fit into our window wells. The drywall installers got 4 rooms put up in one and ½ days! The tapers and texture's did an excellent job taping drywall seams and adding texture in less than two days for each team. Daniel’s crews showed up on time, they were respectful, trustworthy, and we appreciated how hard they all worked to get the job done in a timely manner. Daniel and his trim and paint team did an excellent job painting, installing our flooring, trim, doors, hardware and window ledges. Best of all, Daniel is an honest guy and does what he agrees to do. Treat these guys right and they’ll treat you right! Great job! We love our new space! Thanks Daniel!
Charlie was great to work with. He did a good job on our baseboards, taking his time with all the intricate cuts so the finished product looks great.
Matty arrived on 9/13 the day of the Boulder flood to our townhouse complex. He is a friend of the next door neighbor. Quickly he established rapport and was able to come into my unit and estimate when he would be finished with the unit next door so we could work with the tenants re: the time needed to repair drywall, floor, in the downstairs, approximately 400 sq feet. His work was of high quality and was most willing to work with me as I was doing the painting. He was hired to work on 2 more units after finishing with mine. He was clear and organized re: what needed to be completed in what order. His tile work and dry wall work was lovely. In a crisis situation he was most amiable and easy to work with. I would recommend him and his work. I only needed drywall and tile work and I would recommend his expertise and quality of finish work.
I only hope I can convey the full measure of unreserved enthusiasm and profound gratitude I feel for having discovered so utterly remarkable an individual as I was privileged to find in the person of Brett Breneisen, the most extraordinary contractor I have ever met. Possessing a range of skills virtually any one of which would stand as amazing, Brett quite literally restored our home to us and saved it from almost certain disaster in the future. Our home had experienced foundation damage that occurred as the result of excessive rain having forced the movement of tons of soil, causing a wall in the (finished) basement to lean in substantially from the top. The damage done by the shifting of the wall was considerable: a large air duct was torn from the ceiling and left hanging askew; the doorway to the furnace room was crushed (the sliding doors no longer doors at all, but reduced to ill-fitting, scarcely usable partitions); the sheetrock composing the ceiling had cracked and buckled. A wall in the hallway had buckled as well, and a portion of it protruded outward, possibly indicating that a structural support beam was being shoved right through the wall. None of the doors in the basement would close anymore; indeed, one, frame and all, had been shifted several inches to one side, leaving a gaping opening. The ceiling in one of the rooms was torn; the room gave the appearance, for all intents and purposes, of a lid being torn off a box. Walls were cracked, and splintered, sheetrock shattered here and there; overall, it was a disaster. The house looked as if it were quite literally about to come down. All that is now in the past. Upon having had the house piered to bedrock and thus arresting the movement of the foundation, we were able to address the sorry sight that our basement had become. Thatâs when I called Brett. Right from the start, he put my mind to ease. He conducted a thorough examination and determined that there was no structural damage. He then set about determining each area of damage and, upon his providing a wonderfully reasonable estimate, secured our go-ahead for the project. Brett started immediately. He addressed each and every concern, turning eye-sore problem areas into show-house perfection. It is virtually impossible now to believe that such damage was ever present. In Brett I observed the most capable and expert contractor, quite frankly, I had ever seen. Nothing was beyond his skill and ability, no area of restoration too large or too complex. He amazed us. Brettâs concise and thorough approach may well have resulted in actually saving our home and, quite possibly, our very lives and those of our beloved pets. The pressing in of the wall had put significant tension on electrical wiring conveying power to ceiling lights. The wiring, Brett found, had been installed incorrectly; rather than having been run through a support, as it should have been, it had instead been wrapped around it. Pressure had broken and exposed the wire, situating what would have been live current in direct contact with dry wood. Upon further investigation, Brett found several additional wiring mistakes, ones that, in addition to the previous, would have almost certainly proved disastrous had I sought to have the lights reactivated, as I very nearly did. In lieu of Brett's discovery of the wiring errors---errors no one lese would likely have found---disaster would have followed. (Some years ago, having become suspicious as the result of anomalous electrical behaviour, I had the power to the lines disconnected. We have of course since then been without any real light in the basement, but that was better than the prospect of what could result.) Brettâs expertise removed all danger and restored the lighting. Additionally, this remarkably talented manâs abilities have resulting in the advent of a beautiful, straight wall, a sharp and clean-looking, perfectly placed heating duct where once there was but a broken and sagging eye-sore, and brand new LED lights that provide twice the light at a fraction of the cost. I have never seen so great and varied a skillset contained within the person of a single individual. He never rushed or in any wise imparted to me the feeling that he just wanted to have done and move on. He never once called and said he couldnât make it over today. He saw each and every aspect of the project through, from start to finish, and the result---I do not say this lightly---is flawless. He explained each step of what he did and always offered me options. He was at all times genuinely concerned with my satisfaction, and instantly rose to any challenge regarding anything additional I might propose. He was always personable and friendly, a genuine delight to have in our home. He was at all times profoundly considerate of our pets, ever careful and cautious regarding them and their safety, and earned our complete trust with them, which is no easy feat. The work he did is flawless, beautiful and complete. Having begun with a disaster, he left us with a wonderfully fully-finished and beautifully-painted basement, having single-handedly transformed our home from eyesore to showplace. So long as he is in business, there is quite simply no one else I shall ever call. He has earned our sincerest admiration and respect.
Quality Woodworks did a fast and professional job installing our baseboards. I definitely will use them again!
Very positive experience working with David on a small basement framing project. He bid on what I asked for (framing and hanging drywall) and was very flexible in discussing the project and how to approach it. The framing work was excellent, the drywall work was good. He had several clever ideas that made the project come out better than expected. But most importantly he showed up, did what he said he was going to do, and then after a pause for electric work, came back promptly and finished the job. That kind of accountability is hard to find these days in Colorado. I only saw a small set of David's skills but would definitely recommend him for framing work.
I asked Michael to retrofit cabinets I inherited. He did an absolutely wonderful job!
I worked with Bryan for about 6 months. In that time we completed condo renovation, basement finishing, crown install, baseboard install, door install and building/installing units. Bryan is fantastic, diligent, punctual and detail oriented. He is the best I’ve ever worked with at installing crown moulding and baseboard. I would highly recommend him for door installs also.
I had Silas do many projects around my house. He built a backyard shed, painted the exterior of my house, and installed a screen door. He did excellent work, and I would highly recommend him. I totally trusted him to work in my home while I wasn’t there. M. Keating, Bozeman, MT
Matt, Patrick and John did an amazing job installing a new hardwood floor in my living room along with new baseboards. This turned out better then I had anticipated. The project was completed before the completion date they had given me and the cost for this I felt was very competitive and fair. They were easy to work with and really nice guys as well. I would hire them again for another project when the time comes.
Calabrese Flooring is a marvelous company with the finest installer anyone could ask for. We had both stairs and wood floors installed. Mike the owner was respectful, very helpful and clean-up was thorough. I don't hesitate to recommend him to everyone who desires quality products and ease of installation. Thank you Mike!!!
It was excellent to work with Dunamis Construction. He responded to me immediately and was able to come out and look at the project the next day - hanging drywall, mudding and spraying a basement. He was then able to gather a crew a day later and start the project. They were very polite and clean. They did an excellent and thorough job.
They kept me informed on every part of my flooring installation and refinish. A fantastic job with great response to all of my questions along the way.
Baseboard cut & install in master bedroom. Job was done well and I appreciated the work since it was a smaller job.
Bruce was helpful and did a great job installing deadbolts on all my doors. Cleaned up after working and was very kind when i asked about a few other jobs/advice on the home i recently purchased.
I hired Cody to rewire and install the new lighting in my kitchen during construction, and he did an amazing job. The project was a bit complicated due to the structural beams in the ceiling and the original wiring, but Cody was able to work through those challenges with ease. He takes great pride in his job and does it very well. He communicates promptly and clearly when problems arise, and is always available and willing to answer all questions and provide alternate suggestions if necessary.
The job Dana did on my front door was superb! The job was fairly more complicated than a standard install but Dana and Shannon were wonderful to work with and able to deal with the complications! I will definitely hire them again on future projects.
