I started training with Dana recently and have definitely seen results! She designed a nutrition program for me that has improved my diet and given me more energy, and has helped improve my flexibility and strength by teaching me several exercises that I can also do on my own. Willpower Fitness is my favorite workout studio in Denver featuring the latest strength and cardio equipment including TRX bands, bosu balls, kettlebells, machines, stairmasters, and my favorite, the sled. They incorporate everything from traditional lifts (both body and light weight) to plyometrics to cross-fit exercises. One on one or group training, the workouts vary every day and you definitely feel a burn. Diet and nutrition planning is also available. The staff takes pride in what they do and make it a supportive environment. Will and Don have been in the fitness industry for 10+ years and are extremely experienced in their field. Also have a great vibe working together, are joksters, and make everyone laugh. They focus on each individual person and are in tune with their body. Stretching and proper form play a key role in everyone's program. Willpower Fitness is a brand new studio, clean, with plenty of showers, hot water, hairdryers, curling irons, hairspray, lotion, etc. The locker room is a relaxing environment to say the least. They also offer childcare with lots of toys! I highly suggest Willpower Fitness. I don't doubt it will become your gym and sanctuary as well.
Stephanie helped guide me through my nutrition needs and challenges while preparing for my first attempt at the Copper Triangle ride. I really appreciated her creative solutions to my nutrient timing as I was struggling with digestive issues during my longer rides. I have been training with Mike for several years- first through training sessions through a gym where he worked and then I followed him when he went out on his own. I've never been keen on exercising, and I've tried working with other trainers, but it's never stuck. I sought out a trainer because I wanted to improve my strength and ability to lift heavy tiles in my line of work. I have also seen Mike tailor training regiments to weight loss or general health and nutrition. Mike is incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and dedicated to perfecting the basics. His focus on the foundations allows him to make sure your technique is strong enough to add weight, switch up combinations, and feel confident with your knowledge even when you're working out independently (if you're the kind of person that does that). I would highly recommend Mike, no matter your current level of knowledge or strength.

My husband and I turned to Dr. Sasha Houseman after two emergency room visits concerning our 11 year old son. On both occasions, our son had been complaining of severe stomach pain and his regular pediatrician recommended we take him straight to the hospital for fear of an appendicitis. After many hours and several tests, we went home both times with a diagnosis of... constipation! During the hospital discharge, we knew the general handouts provided on eating more fruits and vegetables just wasn't enough because it's not easy to get a preteen to listen to his parents. My husband and I have been working with Josh for about 2 months now to address weight loss for both of us and my recently diagnosed hypothyroid condition. We quickly came to appreciate his deep understanding of nutrition and soon gained perspective on foods we thought were healthy but are contributing to weight gain and energy issues. Josh speaks from personal experience and is very compassionate and informative. We cocnluded our 6 sessions with a meaningful understanding of "good fats", insulin response in the body, the importance sourcing quality foods, and access to a variety of recipes to help us eat better. As far as I know Lisa is one of the best in the fitness industry! Has consistently trained me and many of my friends and family for the past 8 years. I have been receiving massage therapy from Talitha & Dan for almost 20 years and highly recommend them both! I am a fairly athletic person and utilize massage to keep my muscles more flexible and loose to help prevent injuries and for help in recovery if I have an injury. I also use it for stress relief and relaxation. They are good at attending to what is problematic. They do a very muscle specific type of massage which I find especially effective in relieving pain, keeping me moving and helping with my stress level. They have also worked on other members of my family who love their work as well. They have shown me movement therapy that has improved my flexibility and also given our family lots of tips to keep us healthy.
