Jerimiah is a well prepared teacher that made my child feel very comfortable from day one and he is always very cheerful and my child is always looking forward to her next piano lesson.
Jordan came over to our home to provide our eager 7 year old with piano lessons. The lesson went well and we look forward to having Jordan provide in home piano lessons going forward! Jordan is patient and knowledgable which are key when teaching.
Before May, I had never picked up a violin. Now, I’ve had a few lessons with Alex, and I am beyond impressed. He is very encouraging and patient with me. I’m an adult trying to learn the basics of playing violin before I head off to college, and I’m glad I chose to take lessons from him. I like his approach of practicing different variations to rhythms and style for certain songs and scales. It’s something I would’ve never though to do on my own, and it has helped me improve while practicing the violin and my music theory. I would recommend him any day to anyone.
Not only is Joe an incredibly talented and inspiring performer, he is also a very engaging and effective teacher. I have 2 kids--a 12 year old daughter who plays violin and viola and a 10 year old son who plays cello. Both kids love fiddle tunes and I asked Joe if he could give them a few fiddle lessons over the summer to supplement their regular strings lessons. He agreed enthusiastically and we scheduled 4 lessons over a 2 week period. The kids loved him from the beginning and I was amazed at what they learned in just 1 lesson. The first thing he did was chat with the kids for a few minutes to find out what kind of music they like, what their musical goals were, and just get to know them a little. The 3 subsequent lessons were every bit as good. He worked with both kids at the same time, an hour each lesson. He helped them with improvisation, bowing technique, arrangement, melody, and chords, among other things. By the end of the 4th lesson, they had learned how to take a simple tune, create a musical intro and arrange the piece, trading off melody with accompaniment (chords, chops, etc.) They performed the arrangement for me and I was blown away with all they had learned. They had nothing but good things to say about their experience with Joe. Unfortunately for us, Joe now lives in Colorado, so we'll have to wait until next summer for more of his amazing teaching. But, his teaching had such an impact on my kids, it will carry them through! Thanks, Joe!
My sister Hailey has been taking piano lessons with Anna Sobotka for 2 months now and has made tremendous improvement in such a short amount of time. I am very happy I signed up with Golden Music and hope to continue with lessons for as long as Hailey continues to love them.
I have a more full review on http://denverviolinlessons.com/reviews. I am an adult learner who also took my son to Anton for violin lessons, and I'm very happy with the experience. He's professional, has great technical teaching ability, attention to detail, and understands the pathways to really building a solid foundation on the violin. Highly recommend if you are looking for personalized instruction from a solid virtuoso.
My experience with the Alexandra Eddy Project as been a great experience overall. I have been taking violin lessons from various teachers for over two decades and have found Dr. Alexandra Eddy to be extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of violin performance as well as music theory and history. Her teaching style is not intimidating, but professional and encouraging and I have been able to make many advances in the art because of her excellent instruction. I highly recommend looking into violin lessons with the Alexandra Eddy Project if you are interested in learning or continuing with the instrument!
Aria and Arpeggios Music Academy is a wonderful, nurturing environment for music lessons. The teachers are excellent on all levels. It is a joy to see our children progress in piano with each lesson.
We love our teacher, Doug! Traveling Music Lessons is the best - I wish all of my kid's activities came to us. That is really convenient. We love this service!
My 11 year old has been taking violin lessons from Savannah in our home. She has done an excellent job motivating my daughter to play more and she engages her with music from musicals and shows she likes. I would highly recommend.
Mark is one of the best musicians and teachers I have had the pleasure of working with. Not only does he have vast experience with teaching and playing multiple different instruments, he knows how to effectively teach anyone at any age or level and can quickly adapt to any student's needs. He will go out of his way to give you the best lessons possible with an upbeat and positive attitude. He is always on time, professional, flexible and punctual. He cares greatly about his students and seeing them excel. Not only a great player, Mark is a very experienced and skilled teacher that I highly recommend!
The teachers teach to your style. I have grown so much in my vocal singing and I feel comfortable singing in front of people! I love Flourish and would recommend it as a great beginner and expert lessons.
I appreciated Abigail's ability to challenge my daughter while not pushing her so hard she didn't stick with viola. She is now one of the younger players in the area's youth symphony and was 2nd chair in the region's music competition. She loves to play even when she doesn't love to practice.
Jeremy was Aidan’s second violin teacher at a local music store, and they clicked immediately. Twelve-year-old boys are not always the easiest students to keep engaged and Aidan was no exception, but he was always eager to go to his lesson and more willing to practice when Jeremy was his teacher. I think that Jeremy truly enjoys his students and gets to know them and what motivates them as individuals. In addition, from the parents’ side, he was very professional and pleasant to work with. I highly recommend Jeremy!
A good Violin/Viola teacher will enable you to achieve your full potential as a musician. Even adults with busy schedules find it helpful to take lessons once or twice a month to receive assistance with string technique. When selecting a Violin/Viola teacher for you or your child, remember that teaching styles and personalities differ. Some teachers may work well with some individuals and not others. An ideal teacher is one who will not only provide you with a solid foundation of violin/viola technique, but also one who will teach you in a manner that motivates and inspires you as a musician.
I have been teaching private music lessons for many years to students of all ages from beginners to advanced players.
