Introduction: My work stands out because of my background as a veterinary technician/anesthesiologist and pet sitter for 20 years. I have the capabilities to care for aged or ailing pets, administer fluid therapy, medications, insulin, with skill and confidence. I can also provide after care from surgeries. I also have a degree in Animal Health Technology. Clients are always comfortable with that aspect about me, and many actually found me through my work at various animal hospitals. I have a way with animals that everyone always comments on and recognizes. Getting to work and play with happy healthy animals and providing them with a happy safe and comfortable environment while their owners are away.

My husband and I have used Dana as a pet sitter for our two dogs and three cats for the past ten years. I cannot say enough good things about her. She is completely reliable and I love the way she takes care of our pets. They are always happy and clean when we come home. She really goes above and beyond. If you want the best you should hire Dana. She loves animals and has a great way with them.

My family has known Dana since she was still a vet tech, and it was always a much less stressful visit when she was there. She is extremely knowledgable and very, very good with the animals. I would recommend her to anyone, especially if your pets have special needs. We have had several pets that needed injectables or fluids, and it was always difficult to find sitters who would do that! Dana is soft spoken, very trustworthy, and really does care about animals.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
It was easy. After doing my first few jobs 20 or so years ago, I decided it's what I wanted to do and created my own business. I have alway worked with animals, and it's all I ever want to do.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have had many diabetics who require insulin injections twice daily. Also, animals that require fluid therapy at home. The most common are dog walks and checking in on cats.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure to check 3 or more references, and always arrange to meet with the person before you need them for the job, to see how they interact with your beloved pets.
