FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The initial consultation fee will be applied to their first purchase.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Listen carefully and patiently to what the customer is looking to accomplish. Look at the room, windows, etc. and ask the customer questions to further assess and make sure we understand completely what their final expectations are. We proceed to take the necessary measurements. On the follow-up visit we will come back with ideas as well as wood and/or fabric selections to make sure everything looks well in the room. We will also be prepared with pricing. We do not begin a project until we are certain that the customer feels 100% comfortable to move ahead. At that point we would ask for a deposit to begin.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have visited all the major manufacturers of furniture (Thomasville, Drexel Heritage, Harden) throughout the U.S. and have watched how their furniture is built beginning with the debarking of a tree. In addition, we have attended educational seminars with Serta, Hunter Douglas, etc. We also have years of on the job training with the best decorators and representatives of fine furniture in the industry.
