During the third year I was training with Rhonda, I underwent a joint resection in my shoulder. As an adjunct to the physical therapy I needed, I continued to work with Rhonda, albeit on a slightly modified schedule. During that time, she helped me stay on track with the cardio and other strength training we had been focusing on, while still protecting the shoulder while I regained my full pre-surgery range of motion. Another client of hers and I nicknamed her the "the serial abs killer" while we were comparing notes after our respective training sessions. Rhonda is a very caring professional who always encourages her clients to be the best they can be. She possesses a wonderful skill of identifying weaknesses and then finding multiple ways (some even fun) of addressing and overcoming them.
Charles is an excellent trainer. He's very engaging and incredibly intuitive when it comes to working out and his clients' needs (and he's great at catering to them, too). He's also a perfect match for my training style because he's able to make what you're doing fun while simultaneously paying close attention to your form and adjusting when necessary; he's able to balance distraction and precision in a way that is incredibly effective and something I haven't seen before with any other trainers. It's great for me because it doesn't feel like I'm working out until the next day when my muscles are sore (in a good way). He's also is very flexible and willing to work with peoples' disparate schedules and budgets, so, a win win all around. Definitely would recommend giving this one a shot.
Marcia is training my 98 year old mother. She is knowledgeable, engaging, and has the right mix of encouragement, flexibility and sensitivity. In addition to providing personal training, she has good advice on diet. We are happy we found her through Thumbtack.

Waking up at 6am is difficult and being energized is even more challenging. But Peter is able to keep me focused, engaged and enthusiastic with my 6am workouts and I leave feeling great and ready to tackle the day. He has listened to my workout goals and developed a personalized workout plan for me. I feel like I am working out more effectively than ever before and I can't wait to see the results (I am only a week in). I was impressed the first session when he said that it was a better use of his and my time if I did my cardio warm-up before he arrived so that I wasn't paying him to watch me run on a treadmill - I feel like that showed he respected that I was paying for training and he wanted to make sure I got my money's worth. Peter has also given me great advice about nutrition and workouts outside of my training sessions with him. I feel like he knows his stuff and will ensure I don't injure myself or strain anything while at the same time pushing myself beyond what I think I can do. I feel great and I'm very satisfied so far and would recommend him as a trainer to anyone.
I started training with Maryellen in my home about 9 months ago.I enjoyed training with her so much , that eventually my daughter joined me as well. If you are serious about working out,Maryellen is the perfect person for the job! She is always on time, very thorough and pays attention to every detail of my workout. She knows when and how hard to push me- always striving to get me to the next level. I highly recommend Maryellen to anyone who wants to get in shape and feel good about themselves. - I am glad i found her!
I have been training with Ulysse for a few months. I have used other person trainers in the past and he is by far the best. He has a great personality and he really motivates me to push beyond my usual limits and just not in our training sessions. I take what I get from our sessions and use it when I'm doing my own workouts at the gym. I highly recommend him. He's awesome!
I bought a package of personal training sessions and it’s the best thing I’ve done in ages! I could never get those results on my own. I’ve really surprised myself at how far I’ve come and how much stronger and fitter I am in just a few weeks. I’ve been terrible at sticking to my diet and I’ve still lost inches and even better I feel so much firmer, more alert and healthier. I was planning on only doing a couple of weeks training before a holiday but I’m definitely going to keep going when I get back. I am usually a total cynic with this stuff but honestly, if you want to get fit, get in shape or just get stronger and healthier I couldn’t recommend this more.
Training at NBI fitness with Gilbert has been a remarkable experience. He listens to your goal settings & customizes a specific workout criteria based on your goals, abilities and timing. I have been training with him for only 3 weeks and we had a very aggressive plan based on an upcoming event I have in a couple of months. I have dropped 15lbs already thru diet, discipline and exercise in less than a month. I couldn't have done it without his training. If you are looking for results , I would highly recommend. Beth

Mr. Jerris is a qualified, responsible, and outstanding trainer. He is thorough in ensuring that the training sessions are a combination of fitness, mechanics, and flexibility. He is always on time. He is always positive and has a well planned routine. The sessions always go by rapidly. He even is available by Skype when I need to travel. You cannot get a better service provider.
When I first met Erika, I had just set out to attempt my first ever sprint triathlon. Up to that point, I had been exercising on my own and lost over 100 lbs. I still needed lots of training and only 8 weeks until the race. What Erika then did for me was above and beyond what I could have done on my own. We began training; building powerful muscles and developing balance and stability. She even helped with nutrition planning and recovery tips. I completed my first sprint triathlon but felt my result was lackluster. For a first timer, this was normal. The next day I quickly signed up for another sprint triathlon for that summer. Once we began training for that, Erika amazed me yet again. The training sessions became much more intense. She provided solid motivation to keep up my mental strength. We built lots of explosive muscle and incredible cardio stamina. I finished the 2nd triathlon in the top 50% overall. It felt amazing. The training also translated well in my other hobby, soccer. The results were very real.
I was in america for 3 weeks only, but the Training was awesome and Travis is such a cool guy !! He also helped me for months after i left america. I can fully recommend him !

Could not be with a more knowledgeable and experienced trainer. Liz is amazing with her level of training customized to each individual. She takes the time to go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and to make sure you are safe during workouts. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
The training session was very well tailored to address the areas where I need improvement.
I was only able to work out with her once, as my personal life took a whirlwind turn after our first meeting and fitness was the last thing I could attempt to commit to at the time. BUT I loved her workout style, the way she pushed me and encouraged me the entire time even though I was struggling, and the fact that she let me rest when I felt like I pushed myself too quickly. She also had faith in my abilities and seemed eager to continue to work with me. If I had stayed living in Long Island, I would've continued to work with her.
It has been a great experience, hiring Olivier as my personal trainer. was the best treat I gave to myself. Aside from just training me, he provided me with a nutrition plan, which was a bonus for me, and helped my process. I would definitely continue working with him.

Sean is very knowledgeable and caters the regimen and training according to each individuals capabilities and limitations. He is very patient with answering all my questions and showing the proper technique and form to each exercise. He is very encouraging and never fails to always check up on my progress and lets me know where I can improve, but also never too pushy and gives us ample time to make those changes.
Before training with Noah, clothes shopping involved me picking out lots of tops - rarely pants - and then putting everything back at the last minute and leaving the store empty handed. Now, I've walked into a store, tried on and bought the first pair of pants in my goal size. That is only the most obvious example of how everything, for me, is a totally different experience. Becoming happier and fitter is pervasive and when I decided to invest in myself and start training with Noah, I got way more than I expected. Noah's knowledge, passion, guidance, and positive attitude have changed my life. I've let go of fitness regrets, lost weight I've wanted to lose for 20 years, become fitter and stronger, and become more capable and happier. Those sorts of changes impact everything -- it has translated to me being better friend, wife and mom. Noah is a motivational good person who walks the walk and has a very enjoyable presence. Training with Noah is one of my favorite and most frequently celebrated decisions. He's the best!
