"I already had a design concept in mind, I just needed a group of solid professionals to execute my plan. Jason, who is either the owner or partner visited my home and we walked through options and the various levels of service he could provide. He quickly identified that my electrical panel would need to be upgraded as well to comply with new building code regulations. This was something no other contractors brought up, I was able to confirm his assertion after a quick review of local building ordnances. This seemly little event assured me that Jason and his team knew their stuff and had the experience I was looking for. I ended up choosing the bid from Cheshire Contracting and Jason was able to schedule the project about 6 weeks after we came to agreement. Jason put me in contact with Cheshire Contracting's inhouse designer who provided me with a 3D render of the project based on the scribbled napkin I provided them with. They were able to piece together exactly what I was going for. There were a few things that needed clarification, but with little lag in communication sorting all of that out was actually a pleasant experience which gave me a sense of participation I'm uncertain I would have received with other companies. It turned out that Jason was assigned as the project manager for my build out and I could not be happier with the level of service which he and co provided. He and his crew (who were consistently the same people) we on time every day, showed up when they said they would, were always available via phone, text and even WhatsApp. At the end of each day, the construction area was cleaned and prepped for whatever was coming up the next day. The work area was immaculate when they were not in my home! There were also some unintended challenges which I presume arise with most construction projects and Jason and his team handled each of them with ease and professionalism making sure I knew all of my options and the best way to approach each issue. The project was completed in a little over 4 weeks, which was 2 weeks faster than originally anticipated. The quality of the workmanship was top notch! I am very VERY happy and satisfied with the end results and would most definitely hire and refer Cheshire Contracting for future remodels! A++"
