Latest Review: I have had the honor of taking guitar lessons with Larry Meyer for about 3 years. Larry introduced me to the world of JAZZ and the concept of musical freedom through improvisation. Larry has truly inspired me to be a musician, and to think beyond my original guitar mind set. If you ask him a question, you will get an answer backed by a lifetime of musical exploration and experience, not to mention the serious undeniable pure talent. It is impossible to get a lesson from Larry and not be infected by his excitement of the music and the joy of revealing that infinite world to an aspiring player. I thank you Larry for your friendship and patience as you helped direct me through each musical stepping stone.

Latest Review: My son Christopher has been with Dan for almost a year, after spending 3 years with a previous teacher. Chris has made amazing strides with his sense of rhythm especially, but also with his interpretations of the compositions he's playing. Dan has also shown Chris how to compose his own music and explore the many ways his own songs can sound. Dan is an excellent teacher and pianist, and I would highly recommend him to anyone learning to play the piano.

Latest Review: I decided to fulfill my dream of learning how to play the piano properly with a good teacher. I found Pam on Thumbtack and she has been fantastic for my adult piano lessons. I am 39 years old with a musical background that dates very far back in the day (high school), and she taught me the basics and challenged me beyond what I thought I was capable of. She is patient but strict, and emphasizes technique in a way that I find to be so helpful to prevent bad habits from starting early. Pam is a devoted teacher who pours herself into each of her lessons for all of her students. I have been learning from her for the past 6 months and plan to stick with her as long as she's willing to teach me.

Latest Review: When looking for classical piano lessons for our child, like all parents, we were concerned that she would not only receive great instruction and an appreciation for great music, it needed to be an enriching and enjoyable experience overall. Well with David Gleba we have found just that. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable, he is kind, patient, light-hearted-just a tremendous person. He is an exceptional musician providing an extraordinary experience for our child. We could not be happier and are so glad we found David Gleba. We highly recommend him!

Latest Review: I was a bit apprehensive about signing my 4 year old daughter up for vocal lessons because of her age. I went to a few people to see what they could offer and to hear my daughters voice. I was not impressed. Then I called Billy and he invited me over with my daughter to meet him. It was a fabulous first impression which was 8 months ago! My daughter Myrissa, now 5, has blossomed in both her appreciation for song as well as her voice! My husband and I are truly impressed and very appreciative of just how heat Billy is with our daughter. We highly recommended New Haven Academy of Performing Arts!! We would also advise to start as young as they are interested because she has truly become a beautiful little singer and we can't wait for what's to come!
