We had Joseph install an A/C in our apartment. He was responsive, prompt, and very willing to explain the process and the equipment installed. You can tell he takes great pride in his work!

Walter was great. The main drain of my house was clogged and I told him it was an emergency. He showed up at my house at 9 o'clock at night. He worked hard to fix it but it became evident that the problem was worse than we thaught. He promptly showed up the next day with the proper equipment and took care of the the problem. I would definately recomend him and will surely consider him for future projects.

Harry was on time and professional. He assembled the kids' wooden play kitchen unit for us. The finished product looked very well done. He cleaned up the space after assembly and even offered to vacuum. It was a smooth transaction. We are having him come again to do a few other jobs.

Milton Suqui of S & L Tree Service, and his colleague, Freddie, helped me remove a 60' tree, 18" diameter at the base, that had fallen into a tidal river adjacent to our property. The tree needed to come out immediately otherwise it would become a sieve catching winter blow down and other debris, and jeopardizing our little dock. Get all the estimates you want from Thumbtack.com, but do yourself a favor and give Milton the first chance to do an onsite "final" estimate. Not only did Milton give me the best price, but he and Freddie came with equipment, ready to go the day of the on-site survey, and immediately got to work. Remember, the tree was in the river, so there were some obstacles along the way, including submerged boulders which made the task more difficult, but our little team succeeded in accomplishing the goal. Using block and tackle, pulleys, ratchet straps, a pair of neoprene waders, and a couple of hearty chainsaws, the job was handled efficiently. All of the pieces of the stumps, and branches, and brush were piled neatly above the flood zone to create a new home for woodland creatures. If they can remove a large tree from a moving, tidal river, imagine what they can do for you on dry land. Highly recommend.

I had a BIG powerwashing job: 2story home, white pvc fencing with moss and mold along with trex decking and belgian blue pavers on the front porch. The job was done with great attention to detail and care. The outcome is majestic: gleaming white soffits, pavers like new as well as sealed and sanded, decking fresh and house aglow! A FULL day of work for 2 guys that brought their equipment, set up, did the job and were courteous and gracious. I would recommend 100%. Now, I hired them for painting. An excellent value and easy electronic payment. These are the guys for any job! Even my neighbor came out and hired them too. You will be as impressed as I am. Stunning!!

Ozeas Lannes did some work for me on several occasions. He painted and refinished hard wood floors in 2 rental 2 bedroom apartments in Newark, New Jersey. He did an excellent job. He is punctual, the work was done in the two week time frame he gave. He also recently repaired an electrical line and added two additional lines with circuit breakers in my private house in New Jersey. This job took about 4 hours to complete . The job was well done and neatly finished. He takes his work seriously and I must say it is clear that he values his work and respects his clients and their property. I was impressed by his meticulous and methodical way of working. His work can be compared to a work of art. Nothing went wrong with any of the work he did for me.

We hired DaNa for their odor removal services. Thanks to them, we got a fresh smelling home along with clean walls and floors when the process was over. I appreciated that Noemi, the lady who did the cleaning, was both friendly and thorough, while Francisco was very prompt on all communication. Also, unlike other deodorizing methods I had looked into, the equipment used by DaNa did not require the use of ozone or the evacuation of the premises making it a more eco-friendly solution without the additional hassle.

Did a great job doing fall clean up. Communication could have been a little better. Ryan was a week late doing the job because of weather constraints apparently. That's understandable, but there became some uncertainty if the job would be done at all. A phone call, text, or email would have helped. Leaves were left, equipment failed. Again, understandable, but some communication to let us know you were coming back the next day. Overall, nice job.

I hired Danny to soundproof a room in my basement where drums and other loud musical instruments are played. He was very efficient in planning and execution, and now neighbors and upstairs tenants no longer complain of noise. Danny also helped turn what was once a flat sounding eyesore into a nice looking space with better sound. Looking forward to having him back for future work around the house.

Al came to the rescue with a price I could manage for junk removal from my yard (up a flight of steps) after my kitchen demo. He had to play a good game of Tetris to make all the stuff fit in his van, but he really filled it to the brim. He then helped me move any remaining bags and wood to the front of my house for easier removal for regular garbage night.

Joe was upfront and honest at every step during the process of building our 20x12 deck. I had four other contractors out for quotes and Joe was the only one willing to work with me to get the deck done the way I wanted it done. Even when the weather caused minor problems, Joe was patient and kept within budget. He was there on time and his crew ready to go. Refreshing after having played the contractor game a few times with bad results.

John Furmanek of Handy Daddy LLC installed a false ceiling in my 2000 sq.ft. basement which also included carpentry work and installation of recessed lights. He was competent and reliable and had a wide variety of tools and equipment which he handled deftly. He was courteous, communicative and quoted a competitive estimate. He was punctual and completed his work on schedule. I would unhesitatingly recommend him to others looking for a reliable and competent handyman.

Quinton was great. He did three small plumbing repairs in my house in one job. First of all, he offers a very reasonable price compared to competition. Secondly he provided all the materials and came in well equipped with all the tools. He was very polite and professional. He was incredibly efficient as well. I would definitely work with Quinton again in the future.

Modern. Timeless. Effortless. Professional. Priceless. These are few of many words I use to describe my kitchen and experience with the most professional expert I have dealt with in home design and contractor work that I have done to my home. Irene designed a kitchen that truly stands up to the test of time. My kitchen was done by Irene Holmgren NINE whole years ago we went state of the art on equipment, we went top quality imported cabinetry, we went ultra luxe on the esthetic of tile, flooring accents and lighting. To this day when anyone walks into my home they are stunned by my kitchen. I would work with Irene Holmgren and Positively Priceless because that is the experience that you will have. Additionally. Nothing ever goes as planned and there will always be one or two things that will pop up while doing projects in your home. What most impressed me about working with Irene Holmgren is her ease and effortlessness in handling any obstacles that came our way Whether it be ordering products or making final decisions or scheduling conflicts. Everything was exceptionally handled and I was ALWAYS made to feel comfortable and for a control freak like myself in a situation that I'm not doing the work myself, THAT is PRICELESS! If anyone wants to see photos of my gem of a kitchen. Please message me on Facebook and I will provide images Maria Ferrero

It is interesting that someone who knows about old homes and their history during their time periods. Our English Tutor was built in 1929 and we could not get any of the original plans to the home. Richard came in with two gentlemen with some technological equipment and somehow mapped out a the foundation and structure in 48hours. He explained how and what needed to be completed and we had our estimated pricing to complete our renovation project. We signed our contract that was within our budget and have an estimation for completion. Richard was professional, and knew the challenges of our project. Thank you Richard.
