We needed a Life Coach to help motivate a group of 60 individuals in the insurance business. We didn't know where to look and interviewed many candidates in person & WoW; Mr. Stone came in. He had a confidence, fearlessness and inner strength that was second to none. Here was a Life Coach who just knew what to say and when to say it -- and how loud to say it! He analyzed the room very quickly and knew what was necessary to get these teams up on their toes. I must say some of his ways are a bit unconventional but it just worked. As said in his profile, "it is not the odds that kill us but the spirit that dies if one is not able to fight those odds". He installed that spirit in everyone in the room including upper management and the executives. Once in a while you meet someone who is a little different yet relates to those who are listening and understands what they need to hear to embrace the next challenge and better themselves. As he said, there is a formula that he learned as an executive through the years through trial and error that just works. His stories alone had the group mesmerized and his intensity was formidable. If you can get him to handle your meetings/conventions; grab him as he is well worth it. We couldn't haven't been happier as he even stayed a bit longer to answer individual questions from the audience on stage and alone.
Tom has shown that he genuinely cares about how, when, and if I progress. He is invested in whether I actually achieve breakthroughs toward my personal success. Considering that my goals are so immense: to metamorphosize an ashamed, unhappy, ineffective, & lonely guy, with limited professional influence, into a proud, happy, effective, socially fulfilled, & profoundly influential version of myself, it would have been easy for him to give up on me. Even though I'm confident many life coaches in his position would have terminated our relationship months ago, dealing with such a high-maintenance client as myself - expressing to him hundreds of suggestions / criticisms / requests, expecting a personalized experience that caters to my individual needs, and offering frequent pessimism or guarded skepticism at best - he has been patient, flexible, & determined to support my progress. It has been several months since Tom started coaching me, and I have consciously delayed writing a review until I might have a sense not just that he cares and won't give up (after all, that's part of the job description), but that he will actually help me transform myself, in ways that countless others haven't. I have worked with therapist after therapist for years & years, undergone treatment with psychiatrists, hired dozens of countless project collaborators and personal assistants, and tried more times than I can remember to count on the support of family and friends in order to help me make the steady progress needed to break out of a deep debilitating personal rut that has lasted for decades. All of the above have been unsuccessful. I naturally wasn't expecting Tom to be any different. But I gave him a shot, deciding that I deserved a chance for renewed hope. I almost gave up on him and on myself, but he didn't give up on either. And finally, after months of 'blood, sweat, and tears,' I have come to believe there is hope at the end of the tunnel. I'm beginning to make steady transformative progress, and I'm looking forward to the journey that lies ahead. Prerequisites for success: I have to be patient, make a few reasonable leaps of faith, and make an investment in my future, emotionally and financially. I also have to be an active participant and be willing to gradually take the reins myself. I finally have to accept his limitations, while recognizing and counting on his strengths. His limitations: Tom is not a miracle worker, and in comparison to others I've worked with, he's not the most charismatic, inspiring, eloquent, forward, original, perceptive, intellectual, tech-savvy, exciting, or assertive. But his STRENGTHS far outweigh these limitations: He is persistent in his efforts. He is determined to be an ally on the road to victory, offering extra support when needed, never conceding defeat. He is compassionate, showing empathy for my experiences & struggles, frustrations and pain, & and my initial often-pessimistic attitude. He is patient, and will put in the time to understand, listen, and reevaluate / regroup when necessary. He is humble and modest, not expecting recognition, praise, notoriety, credit, or gratitude for going above and beyond. He is affordable, & ends up charging far less money than he could for his time, and far less than any of the other life coaches I considered, let alone being a mere fraction of the cost of a therapist or psychiatrist! He is respectful, as a friend would be, but sensitive & honors any boundaries I set. He never speaks down to me. He is honest, and when requested, very candid about what he thinks needs improvement, more, focus, or a shift in perception. He doesnt rub me the wrong way as a salesman might, as though Im a source of income, but always treats me like a person who deserves to achieve his dreams. He is passionate about helping people. He works very hard, often going above and beyond what others would do, putting his clients ahead of his personal life. He is fair, respects agreements, honors his word, readily forgives, and shows lenience. He is creative, willing to try to approach problems from new perspectives and angles. He is open-minded, willing to work with approaches and systems hes unfamiliar with that I know are likely to be effective. He is trusting, and gives me the benefit of the doubt, while also helping me to become more accountable. He is reliable, and I have been able to count on him in ways I couldnt count on therapists, employees, mentors, friends, & family. His system of "open access" helps me throughout the week, and this unique system of coaching has been the key to my success, helping me beat procrastination and not lose sight of my goals. He is flexible, & accommodates limitations, changes, and conflicts with my schedule, deficiencies in my attitude, and treats my perceived failures like learning opportunities to take a new, more promising approach. He is resilient, and puts up with much more than necessary for someone in his position, and never complained once to me about it. Finally, he is kind, complimentary, and friendly. He's like that 'conscience on your shoulder.' I would recommend him to anyone who is considering hiring a life coach, or to anyone who has unfulfilled dreams they know they deserve to and could achieve, but haven't. Thank you, Tom, for your efforts, and quality work :)
She is a very good therapist. She always responded promptly to phone calls/text messages and was very flexible with appointment times and dates. She was also available to do sessions over Skype. All this was very useful in my care as I was a busy attorney dealing with serious mental health issues. Her rates became too high for me as I had to stop working but before that she did try to work with me and offer a reduced fee. Overall, great experience and I would recommend her to others.
Tom is very knowledgeable in fitness & nutrition. I am very happy to have found Tom on Thumbtack.I have lost 20 lbs. since I started working with Tom. The exercise program he has designed for me truly targets my trouble areas.
I've been having weekly phone sessions with Gabriella for the last six weeks and they have been amazing! I cannot say enough about what a great coach she is. She's dedicated, focused and totally your cheerleader. At the end of each of my sessions, which end with a hypnosis session, I feel capable of actually achieving all of my set intentions. There are not enough words to describe how much this experience has helped me. I had wanted to speak to a life coach for a long time and I decided to go the phone route as I thought it would make it easier to ease into the process. Gabriella has been able to help me focus on what my true goals are and to find ways to "attack" them without feeling overwhelmed. She's helped me clear the fog in my head and finally listen to me. The process is not always easy as it requires you to really be honest with yourself and also be accountable but even during the times when I fell short of my desired goals, I was okay knowing that I was on the right path. There was never any judgment from Gabriella, just encouragement. I highly recommend her!
I have yet to make a decision on my coaching needs, but would like to recommend Gary based on our exploratory meeting. He is personable and accurate in his initial assessments. I believe he has a unique skill set that does assist others in direction and discipline. I minimally recommend that you take the opportunity to meet with Gary in person.
Jennifer was amazing! She has such a soothing and calming presence and she walks you through the entire process before beginning and customizes the session to your needs. It was so insightful and informative, I highly recommend her services for specific concerns or just overall wellness. I've never felt so relaxed or in tune with my body. I urge you to visit her!
I hired Lady Charmaine to create a resume for me that I would use to submit for a board of directors position. She did a phenomenal job, was very professional and courteous. The resume she created was excellent and wasI selected for and am now on the board of directors. I highly recommend her.
Michael is a very knowledgeable person and highly focused in exceed his students expectations. He is more than a teacher, he is an excellent coach who helped me during tough moments with wise advises. His flexibility allows his students to tailor-made their lessons according their priorities and needs.
Victoria, is quite a talent! My wife and I met with her for about 45 minutes and she presented me with a handout script for me to read out loud and then critique me over and over again until I improved somewhat, as it’s still a work in progress but I think she’s well worth the money.
Working with Ellen has been an absolute pleasure! This was my first experience with a life coach and her experience, along with sound advice, has been incredibly insightful. She is a straight shooter, professional, and great listener with an attentive memory and desire to help her clients achieve their goals. I would gladly recommend her to anyone looking to take serious action in their life and/or ensure they are on the right path to succeed.
My experience with the Mcknight Coaching Lab was extremely satisfactory. David has helped me be more confident and assertive, not just in my career, but also in my personal life. He taught me the skills to go after the things I want in life. It was after he helped me revamp my resume that I got a call to interview for my last position. Even when I got discouraged while looking for an apartment, it was David who encouraged me and gave me the determination not to give up, and the next day I found one. David is able to give the needed encouragement and support, yet not get overly involved in your personal life. He is always extremely professional, while being warm and personable......David himself also has an impressive resume, being employed by fortune 500 companies, and educated by top universities...... Daniel is extremely encouraging, yet patient. I know it's just the beginning of my journey with him as a coach but I could not be more excited about this work. Looking forward to adding another review after the next few weeks and/or months to talk about my progress.
I was pleasantly surprised at the rapid results I achieved with Jeff at Peak Results Coaching. I would recommend him to others.
I have a proven track record with many years of experience.
Donna couldn't walk up or down a full flight of stairs when She went in to see Carolyn. When she came out she walked up a full flight of stairs without having to use the railing at all!!!!! Her physical life changed from that day on! She would give Carolyn 7 stars if possible.
Noelle was amazing, and the session improved my happiness and well-being a lot!

I am a Psychiatric NP who is certified as a 500-RYT yoga therapist and certified in plant-based nutrition. Plant-based nutrition simply means tailoring the diet to add in more plants, which helps decrease inflammatory load. I also have a portable gold-standard Basal Metabolic Rate (or REE) instrument which measures your BMR (or the amount of calories you would burn if you laid absolutely still for the entire day). Knowing your actual BMR helps you plan your caloric intake accurately, which is so important, because estimates can be off by as much as 500-800 calories! My psychotherapy/counseling/life-coaching work with clients is grounded in a blend of CBT, DBT, and Psychodynamic techniques. I have worked with both individual and company clients since 2010.
I don't just give people a massage I give them an educational experience to learn about themselves and figure out what works for them to live a better life.
My work stands out because I am passionate about my work. My life is giving by seeing that people have the life that truly matters to them. Some of their results include : 1. getting married 2. increase revenue or income 3. transform their health 4. having loving and intimate relationships 5 developing an incredible career and more
