We switched to Laura in May for piano lessons after 3 years with another teacher. We are very happy with her teaching approach. She makes it fun for my 2 daughters (10 & 8) and yet they are learning a lot. I noticed that my girls practice more during the week and looks forward to their weekly lesson with Laura. She comes to our house too which is very convenient.
I had the extreme privilege of being taught by Matt for two years, both in private lessons and in an orchestral setting. He is a patient, dedicated, and incredibly talented teacher that perfectly balances the many realms of friend, mentor, instructor, and motivator. I can say with confidence that my musical skills improved exponentially under Matt's firm, but friendly, tutelage, and that he is an absolute joy to work with.
Guitar Hangar is a full-service music store, with a wide selection of instruments from beginner to high-end instruments at competitive prices. More importantly, they focus on service after the sale -- including repairs, maintenance, accessories and perhaps most importantly for new and intermediate musicians, lessons. Rick has been my go-to guy for more than 10 years, and I give him and Guitar Hangar my highest recommendation.
My 7 year old daughter takes violin lessons with Ariadna. She's been with Ariadna for a year and my daughter enjoys her lessons. Ariadna is very patient, great with technique and musicality.
Sandie is my violin teacher. She is very patient and works very well with adult students. I have been taking lessons with her for about 7 years. I watch her with children and am very impressed how she works with children. I would highly recommend her services!
Maria is the most thorough, pleasant, and knowledgeable private music teacher I've ever taken lessons from. I leave each piano lesson with a more comprehensive understanding of notes, of rhythms, of musicality, but most importantly, of myself.
Twenty years ago I took violin lessons for a couple of years, then stopped. For some reason, I decided to give it another shot, and I'm glad I did. I'm enjoying the whole process more than ever.
I took private violin lessons with Kevin for a few summers in order to prepare for auditions for my community orchestra. Kevin was extremely helpful and nice, and between lessons he was always available in case I needed to reschedule.
Nicole helped my daughters, who are 8 and 13, learn how to play the violin and cello respectively. She gave my girls private lessons out of our home for an hr 2-3 times a week. Nicole is very patient, effective in her teaching methods, and is very knowledgeable in both the cello and violin. I remember one time both my daughter had a recital coming up and she stayed an extra 2hrs longer to help them, and I didn't ask her to! She wanted them to do well and was more than happy to stay. Nicole was always 10 minutes early to our home and I would refer anyone wanting to learn the violin, cello, or beginner piano lessons to Nicole. Couldn't have asked for anyone better! Parent's, employers, and prospective learners, you will not be disappointed with Nicole! Sincerely, One proud and happy mother! Thanks Nicole
I take weekly violin lessons. I am a newcomer to playing the violin, starting at age 65. After playing for a few years, I wanted a teacher who could help me with my sound. I heard Lynn Newdome play at an open house and was impressed with her tone. So I started lessons with her a year ago. She teaches children as young as 5 years old and adults as old as me (now 71). Her ability to teach all aspects of mechanics is impressive and my sound quality now is much better than it was a year ago when I started lessons with her. Lynn also offers the opportunity (it is optional) to play at a yearly recital in the spring and also twice a year all of her students play at a older adult facility. So we can learn a wide range of genres - requiring more knowledge of how to play the instrument. All this makes it all the more interesting as she encourages her students to play the type of music that appeals to them. I cannot recommend Lynn more highly.
Ms. Tracy Delauney has a wide range of knowledge and experience and uses such in helping her students. I look forward to learning more about the piano, to learning about music, and to being able to play and enjoy a wide repertoire of music.
Since starting lessons with Corey, my playing has improved tremendously! I like the fact that I have a say in what we play; practicing a piece that I want to learn, doesn't even feel like practice, it's fun. Corey is very personable and funny but at the same time, very professional. I look forward to lessons during the week and all in all, Corey is an amazing teacher!
My 7 year old enjoys his violin lessons with her. She is very good with kids. He loves the little surprises she gives him when he does a good job.
I took violin and viola lessons with Sarah for a year as an adult improver. Sarah is a fantastic teacher with a warm personality, who has the infinite patience that was required to coax me through the minefield that is playing a string instrument! After Sarah invested a lot of effort on my bow arm, my sound quality has improved a great deal. Sarah loves what she does and transmits that to her students. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
Years of experience working extensively with children; patient, firm, and excited about music!

I am a passionate and friendly violin teacher with 20 years of experience! Having done many years of training in the Suzuki method, I am very comfortable starting young children on the instrument. I also enjoy teaching older children and adults, adjusting my approach to suit your expectations. I am thorough but also fun and creative.
My experience in a variety of styles leaves me open to the many options available to violinists beyond the classical world. While I stress a solid foundation in classical technique, I encourage students to follow their own path, whether it be jazz, rock, fiddling, or something else. I also have experience with the electric violin, which can be of some aid in pursuing alternative styles.
