I have been looking for a lawyer for weeks with no luck. I was very happy to get an immediate response from Lynn Dawson. She took the time out to listen and address all my concerns during a very difficult time in my life. Not only is Lynn very knowledgeable, she is compassionate too. I left her office feeling like a million tons were lifted off my back. I also feel relieved that she has given me the most reasonable price out there. Lynn Dawson has given me the confidence I needed to fight for my rights, and I know she will be there by my side.Feb 21, 2015Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? For most criminal and Motor Vehicle matters I charge a flat rate for all court appearances, client meetings and preparation pre-trial. Should the client decide to go to trial we have the opportunity to renegotiate a new fee. For family and child custody matters, I generally charge a retainer, which is held in my trust fund and billed against at a very low and reasonable rate.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I complete at least 12 hours of continuing legal education every year. I recently attended and participated in a four day conference on Children in the Courts presented by the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work? Many individuals think they cannot afford counsel in a divorce or criminal matter. The truth is that an experienced attorney may cost them money up front, but a good attorney will consider collateral issues that a non-attorney might not have anticipated. These collateral issues, such as DMV ramifications, financial settlements in a divorce, and child support orders may end up costing more in the long run.
