Introduction: Lisa Zenkel is a E-RYT 200 certified Integral Yoga Hatha Level 1 teacher and and is an accredited member of The Yoga Alliance. Lisa also holds a Masters Degree from Columbia University School of Social Work. Utilizing her experience as an MSW , combined with her Hatha Yoga Practice Lisa enables others to learn the benefits of the relationship built between the body, mind and breadth. Hatha Yoga, a holistic system is one of the most beneficial practices for general wellness one can pursue for that life balance. I love working with individuals and groups to help every person of every yoga level experience tone and strengthen their body. I want my students to experience a yoga class that culminates in the ultimate experience of inner peace.

Private Yoga Instruction

I have hired Lisa on a private basis and attended her group classes. She is very caring and accomodating to her clients. Lisa has a soothing voice which works wonders during the meditation part of the class. I feel like a new person after I leave, refreshed and renewed. I particularly like her yoga style, which is more complete with the meditation and quiet portion, something we all tend to neglect.

Excellent class, have studied yoga in Bali with the best and Lisa’s class resembles my experiences there. She brings a balance of physical yoga combined with meditation and spirituality all in one. Feel excellent after every class. I highly recommend her as an Integral Hatha Yoga professional!

Lisa's class perfectly balances the physical with the mental so you leave feeling both stronger and more relaxed. Classes are taught with attentiveness and deep respect for each student (postures will be corrected when necessary but always in a gentle, encouraging way). Lisa's class offers a true respite from my hectic week and I feel better all-around after each class.
