Hired Walter to check out a clogged toilet drain. Turned out it was a broken main sewer line which he was also able to repair. I liked how he is very systematic in his approach to identify the problem and his philosophy to only fix what is broken. Also explains and communicates well and works with you. Since he can do a lot of very different tasks, I am sure I will hire him in the future and can also recommend him to everybody.
Phenomenal service!!! Affordable rates! David was professional, prompt, hard working, kind, and honest. I had a much bigger issue than a clog... David went above and beyond to repair my issues in a timely manner. I won't go to any one but David for my plumbing issues from now one. If you want old fashioned, honest, reliable, hard work them York Sewer and Drain is for you!!!
We had a clogged drain in the kitchen. The kitchen is in the process of remodeling, so the sink was not there and no water to flush down the drain. I communicated with Jason via text messaging, sending him pictures and voicing my concerns. He answered all my questions very patiently even before arriving for the job. At the job, he was very professional and careful. He cleaned the drain, used the camera to check it, and cleaned up after he was done. He said that he warranties his work and we can call him back if anything goes wrong after the sink is installed. (The sink has not been installed yet, as of today.) We are very satisfied with his service and will be calling him again for future projects.
Jerome was professional and responsive from beginning to end. It was an IKEA daybed assembly. He did a terrific job in a reasonable amount of time and cleaned up completely before leaving. The price was fair and I was pleased. I do recommend him.
Good job disconnecting and installing faucets and drains. Cooperative, personable, fair price.
We hired Marty to replace a damaged faucet, fix our capped pipping, repair damaged wood framing, and replace and patch the drywall in our master bedroom. All in a single day. He did an excellent and meticulous job on the bathroom, and the new faucet works great. The wall was closed up, and Marty even had time to take a look at our garage door opener, which had been malfunctioning for quite some time. The value you get for Marty's time is great. If you have any odds-and-ends around the house that need fixing, don't hesitate to give Marty Klein a try. You won't be disappointed.
He arrived on time as scheduled and went straight to work immediately. He fixed a clogged drain for me but had to replace damaged pipes before he completed the job. He walked with me to the hardware store to ensure I purchased the right materials. He was very professional and appropriate at all times. He removed sliding shower doors and the frame, he cleaned up after he finished working and did not leave any mess. I would definitely recommend him for any plumbing and/or electrical job! His prices are also very competitive!
My partner and I just moved to NJ from NC and had quite a bit of repairs and upgrades we needed to complete on the new home we purchased. One such upgrade was venting the dryer. This home was built in 1892 so needless to say, the original architectural plan did not include a dryer. The previous owners installed a gas line - but where the gas line had to run to attach to the kitchen stove, made for a really poor location in the basement in regards to venting the dryer. Before Nick came, he let me know a price for a best case scenario, which I appreciated because had he named a price over my budget, it would have given us both the opportunity to cancel the estimate so as not to waste time. Nick arrived on-time for the estimate and at first it was pretty tricky to find a solution for venting the dryer without completely tearing up the ceiling and walls. Nick was persistent in finding though and was able to devise a plan of going through an old nonfunctional window that was hidden and covered. I hired him to complete the dryer venting and also uncap the gas line and install a hose in preparation for the dryer installation. On the day of the project, Nick arrived on time (7:30am on a Saturday) It took him about 2.5 hours to complete everything. He did a fantastic job. One strength I want to highlight is that Nick not only gets the job done, and does it well, but also takes pride in the aesthetics of his work. He could have easily vented the dryer in a way that exposed the pipe all the way along the ceiling and through the window, but instead he figured out a way to fish it under the sheet rock for a cleaner look. He also cleaned his work space completely - which I have found to be rare for contractors in this area. I have had many contractors who were ready to walk out the door without cleaning up their mess and would have done so had I not asked them to clean up before they go. I also want to highlight that I had a sewage pipe issue in the basement prior to his dryer venting project. Nick also does plumbing so I called him at 4pm and he was at my house by 8pm. People who who have hired folks for sewage pipe leaks know that cleaning up the sewage is not part of the job. Nick was willing to clean and sanitize on top of snaking the pipes and clearing them of clogs for a reasonable price. Nick has been great to work with and does great work. I have already hired him to take care of some other projects around the house (installing a shower door, clearing debris in the backyard). Glad we found a go-to handyman for our new home!
I couldn't figure out why I could get the lever to flush the toilet. Jason came and figured it out immediately and volunteered to walk to Home Depot to get the parts that were needed. A part in the level had broken. So he walked the 20 blocks to get the part and fixed it. I am very grateful to him. He literally went the extra mile for the job. He was very nice as a person and had made a career out of toilet and faucet repair, so he is very knowledgeable. I would hire him again and I would immediately recommend him to a friend.
Mike was a fantastic handyman who helped us unclog our shower drain. We had a lot of standing water that simply wouldn't drain no matter how many anti-clogging methods we tried. After wasting a lot of time and money, we contacted Mike and had him come over to help us. He was professional, friendly, and efficient - and best of all, got the job done quickly! Would definitely hire again.
Hired Gjo to fix the leaking faucet, missing drain stopper, loose toilet and worn drainage pipe. They are very attentive to details. The job was beautifully done. They are willing to communicate and ask and confirm everything before they work on it. The price is good. Willing to hire them again for future plumbing work.
They responded quickly to the request and came over to to give us an estimate. Once, they arrived, they efficiently and effectively diagnosed the problem. In addition to replacing the pipes, they also replaced and painted the wall. After completing the first issue, they also helped us address another issue in the house. They worked over two days until everything was repaired to our satisfaction. They gave us a decent price for all the work as well as a guarantee on all work completed through the company. Additionally, they were professional, respectful, and efficient. We would recommend them to others and use them again for our plumbing and construction needs.
Eddie did a great job fixing our clogged sink drain and was pleasant and courteous.
He cleaned up all my leftover leaves, and did a great job, and also put top soil down and seeded my front yard, very reliable.
Austin was quick to return my message and came out the next day to repair my toilet. He was very professional yet down to earth. His work was quick, neat and complet. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who has a plumbing issue.
