We are like the perfect storm, alike in so many ways (not all the best ways), with that said, I have worked out with many trainers in the past and Matt is no holds barred. he constantly thinks outside the box and reinvents workouts. Because of him I can do a ten minute plank and my stamina is better than it has been. He will train boxing, yoga, cardio, weight training, obstacle courses etc., there is no limit. He will train outside, inside and side ways :). He trains in a gym, in a school yard and at a friends house. He pushes you and does not kiss your butt so you know when you did well. He really is the perfect trainer for me. His ultimate goal is to make you the best athlete you can be. He tailor's workouts to each individual person and will tone them down if he sees the need to.. His competitive spirit i thrive on.and tries to be as flexible with his hours as possible. I strongly encourage anyone who truly likes to work out and wants intensity to hire him.

Awesome trainer! Very motivating and delivers great results. He is very knowledgeable and attentive. Every workout is different, a great variety of exercises and always shows me something new; I never get bored training with him! By far the best trainer I have ever worked with. He is also flexible with my crazy schedule. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I would definitely recommend Matt to anyone who is serious about achieving fitness, building strength, and/or losing weight. He is both knowledgeable and experienced and will safely push you past your limits every session. I also feel that he is truly invested in his clients' success. Only one word of advice: These workouts are not for the faint at heart! If you are a novice like me, you will be exhausted and sore for days when you first get started. It is totally worth it though, and you will be very glad you chose to work with Matt towards your fitness goals. Logistics: I sought Matt's help to lose weight and build strength. I meet with him on average once a week for a 1 hour session. He and another trainer share training space in Derby and that's where we meet. He is always prepared and on time.

Matt is an oustanding trainer. He will push you to your limits, but never more than you can handle. If you are serious about your personal fitness and are willing to dedicate yourself to trying, you will definitely see the results you are looking for. I found him to be extremely knowledgable in his training techniques and how the body will react. His dedication to helping you achieve your goals is superb.

I started working with Matt after a long time away from the gym due to two herniated discs. Matt has been great developing workouts that are fun and challenging while working within the confines of my limitations. He knows when to push because im being a pansy, and quickly finds modifications when my injuries prevent certain movements. He's also incorporated stretching and core workout to help my with my recovery.
