FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I come from 3 generations of craftsmen in my family. My grandfather was a retired master carpenter. I followed him from the shop to the house "helping" him while he worked on projects at our house.I was always interested in how things went together and came apart. I also, liked to see what made things work. Taking apart things was easy, putting them back together was a little tougher at first. But I learned quickly and watched as all sorts of trades men worked at our house. And I asked lots of questions. By the time I was 12, I was helping to repairs around the house and neighborhood. They rest as they say is history.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with customers in all different areas. Residential, retail, industrial;health care;non profit;religious; historical properties I tend to take on the projects others dont want to handle because you have to think out of the box to problem solve issues. It takes careful thought, planning and an ability to adapt and adjust when things are non conforming to today's building standards and codes.
