I searched for far too long for an adequate contractor and fortunately discovered Guided Interiors through a friend that had such a great experience that I couldn't help but set up a consultation. Myra was so thorough with every aspect and explained every step along the way with incredible detail. I am very thankful for Myra and all of her design aspects that led to what I consider was a perfect outcome to my kitchen/bath renovation. She took the time with me to make sure I was happy with every decision that we had to make for this project. I will continually recommend her services to anyone in the market for a remodel. Thank you Guided Interiors as my home is now everything I've always wanted it to be.Jan 10, 2020
We had a vinyl floor put in our two family rental property. We loved working with Myra and the finished product was beautiful. We enjoyed working with Guided interiors so much we have booked them for a second job in our primary home. This time we are going for a bit more!!Jan 20, 2020Guided Interiors by Myra's reply

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to meet to ensure that we are a good personality fit. Communication is paramount to success. Then we review your wants and put a very loose number around it. The next step is to narrow down details and turn the scope of work into an estimate. It can be hugely advantageous to begin a renovation early- there are lead times for products from 4-12 weeks! After the agreement and deposit, we compete the design scheme. The ordering phase is next, then exploring variables to lessen surprises, and finally we commence the renovation. I allow for extra time and steps upfront to ensure as smooth a renovation process as possible. This also allows you to digest the design & the scope of work and make changes before being 100% committed. Often we change our minds once we get into the process- if they are good changes, we want the flexibility to implement them!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work? It’s a process. For many having a little extra time up front is what makes the difference in achieving a successful outcome. When we improve our homes it can have a dramatic effect on our day to day functioning and happiness. It pays to be patient and go a little slower with the planning stage.
