FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically charge my clients a fixed price depending on how far away the individual lives away from me. I live in Fairfield, Connecticut. If you are in Fairfield then I typically charge 70 dollars per one hour session. If you move a town further away I charge ten more dollars to cover the wear and tear costs of my car and the cost of gas. So if you are living in Stamford The price would typically be about $80.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will come into our first personal training session with a baseline assessment pre drawn up. The baseline fitness assessment will take the individual through a few different basic exercises. The goal of the baseline fitness assessment is to determine the clients current physical and psychological strength, toughness, and technique. Upon the results from the baseline fitness assessment I can then draw up a customized exercise plan that is unique to each client. This fitness plan will help the client achieve their fitness goals and will get them FIT! The fitness plan will be less effective if it is not properly derived from a strong and complete baseline fitness assessment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I belong to the ACSM Professional Journal publication. This publication follows the latest trends and fitness fads in today's culture. The ACSM personal training certificate requires me to achieve what is known as a CEC or (continuing educational credit). These CEC's are achieved through attending professional seminars, submitting essay's or answering questions regarding some of the articles in the professional articles, or by retaking my personal training certificate all together. I am currently answering questions from the professional journal to achieve a level or CEC's sufficient to sustain my ACSM personal training certificate.
